Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think EAS kernels are different and profiles will not work. They already have some power management. For profiles like this you need kernels with Interactive governor.no, I'm misspelling

Extreme Battery Saving Profile
Question.
Anyone would like to have such profile? I mean totally into battery saving (with lag, stuttering etc.)?
My intention was to make profiles which save battery, but still have fast and smooth phone (without noticeable lag or slow downs). But maybe someone don't care and wants to have something extreme?
I could try prepare it and upload here for testing. Like unofficial release (at least in theory it should be much more battery friendly).

I've been trying the last 4 profiles unfortunately without success. I'm now on stock leedroid (as in no mods to the rom), cleanslate kernel and turned down CPU frequencies with ex kernel application. Same results over and over. But thank you for your efforts to even try and extend the battery life on the HTC 10 and of course that you accomplished that on your device.
A total battery saving profile would be obsolete in my opinion, i myself don't see the use of a lagging/stuttering phone when i can use it without the annoyance of those lags. I rather charge it twice a day than have the stutters, but again that is my personal opinion.
My device can hold a charge from 6 in the morning til 2300 in the evening full functional so therefore i am not complaining for a battery from April 2016.

I'd be interested in how that profile would hold up with my usage, I'd definitely try it if you'd upload it
With my usage I get better results than with stock settings, so I like governor profile idea. On android 7 and new battery I had 6 hours SOT only once. Now I have average SOT 5.5 hours, so it's definitely works for me. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you, probably there's few reasons combined. But what's to point to change default if it's working good right?
I think the same about lagging/stuttering phone. I don't want that just to have more SOT, but someone asked about battery profile, so maybe there are people who need some extreme option, even like temporary switch to it, when you need it. It's fun to try it out and all I need is feedback, so I will know if what I did is working as I expected.
My phone holds minimum 20-22 hours, but most of the time is 1 day and 3-8 hours, sometimes more, but rarely, because I kind of play with it all the time
My phone is more than 2 years old now same as battery, so I guess I can't complain neither.Have a nice holidays!

I'm not sure if anyone still using this, but for me governor profile is still best option to get more SOT and still responsive phone. I was planning to test this setting a bit more, but I'm changing it all the time, so I guess I can upload it as it is.
Phone should run more smooth and faster and SOT should be better than stock. I'm not sure, how much I will get, but I hope for 5-6 hours as before, which I guess is kind of max you can get without loosing your phone speed.
If anyone try it, please let me know how it works on your phone compare to previous version.

Unbelievable! My HTC 10 gets barely 2-2.5 hours! Do you think if I flashing a custom rom like Leedroid my HTC 10 gets any battery improvement?
I'm not sure. First thing is good battery. Custom ROM or tweaks should give you some improvement, but there's no miracles.
With this profile and leedroid rom and cleanslate kernel I have easy 1 day on battery and 4.5h SOT (and that's when I'm travelling, when network is low and all the time searching for signal, on britht sun, etc.). It's for sure better than stock. My battery is 2 years old.
Oh and one more thing. Everyone has slightly different phone configuration, different type of using, so different results and different tweak might work (another governor profile, helix engine).

Thanks. It was quick release. Sometimes what I think should be battery friendly works completely opposite.
I'm now using 2.0.2, I'll release when I back and we will see your results. I'm very interesting in feedback, because it helps to do profile works for more people, not just for me.
