Here are my stats from yesterday. As you can see if I survive through my normal day (which lasts about 16-17h) SoT can't go much above 2.5h. It would be awesome if I were able to push it just a bit above 3h of SoT with 16-17h of total time. Any suggestions? I have a feeling I'm missing something big as I see people stating much higher SoT values.

BTW, my main screen-off activity is usually listening to some music or podcast (both off-line, downloaded mp3, so no streaming) with wired earbuds or sometimes with BT ones which I know draw more power.

But if someone knowledgeable were able to optimize regular screen-off time (i.e. pure stand-by, no podcasts, just background synch).

That 2.0.5. sounds ridiculously awesome, so SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!! :D :D

Can't respond now. I'll back to you when I'm free and get some rest. I have busy Sunday and Monday with not much sleep and lots of driving.

Hey, great job with the project. 2 questions, because im on crdroid (nougat) and I want to try your profile *my phone is +2 years old*
1. Is there any problem if I have tabpole kernel installed?
2. Is there any problem if I have akt profiles installed? I selected one module, but I can disable it.
Thanks in advance!
This tweak is for Oreo. I think there are better tweaks for Nougat, but of course this one might work too.

1. As @zr_hazem wrote. Has to be kernel with interactive governor.
2. Akt profiles change governor tunables which this tweak also does, so you can't use both.

Don't expect miracles from 2.0.5. It might work a bit better, but it might not change much.

Listening of music for me (if it's internet radio) drains only a bit less than screen on, offline music player drains too, but of course not that much.

I would check your battery first. Idle drain is also important, maybe try to flash your ROM again (I had battery drain with Leedroid r146).

Good luck.

Yes ofcourse I flashed this profile with magisk
AD.1
Latest working method to disable HTC power manager (at least as most of users reports it's working) is:
1. Delete perf folder in /system/vendor/etc
2. Delete powerhint.xml file in /system/vendor/etc
3. Delete pnp.xml file in /system/vendor/etc
I'm sure this is in first post mate.

Hello, Alderon666.

Thanks for your amazing work, I already did everything what you suggested but I'm still getting random reboots, I replaced the battery by a new one. Do you think that my case would be hardware issue? Thank you.

Random reboots ? Are you on stock rom ?
No, I'm running LeeDroid 10 V5.2.1 (Cleanslate as Kernel)

The random reboots started with the stock ROM a few months ago and I replaced the battery by a new one, that's why I started to search for a solution. Then I found this thread and another by mattie_49 regarding the battery performance.

I already did all the steps in the procedure succesfully but I'm still experiencing random reboots on my HTC10, it could be at 80% - 76% - 50% etc...

I know that this procedure doesn't cause any issues or random reboots (this is just my case), but any help will be highly appreciated.

For me it looks like hardware problem. You replaced battery, so the only thing I can think of it's mainboard or something.

You could try to do full wipe, I mean full - firmware included (if you have S-OFF). Then clean install stock ROM and see if you have any reboots.

Why so quiet here?

Anyone is using this crap? :)

Any feedback? Requests? Thoughts?

I'm planning to release 2.0.6 in the future, small changes for theoretically better battery life (SOT).

If anyone has simple and effective way to decrease idle drain, please share. I have strange experience with that, one day 0.2%-0.3% per hour another day it was 0.5%-0.6% maybe even slightly more :/

Hate to report it. But my device is trashed. Getting (Cand) (Decode) err no free space for event in Logcat. Then in recovery u:event android process error in recovery. Happens when I unplug device. Runs continually in background when screen is off. Maybe get 5 hours off charger and runs hot. I've asked around and looked. No answers. I've tried RUu'ing all the way back to Nougat and took Ota's all the way back. Even on stock. If anyone can decipher any of this. Please relay the answers. Just wanted to say nice knowing all you HTC 10 owners. Good bunch of people. Phone update if I can't fix. So I'll be around somewhere. Until then.!!
