WiFi or wired connection?
Mxplayer-Vlc-Vimu?

(I don't have this China Box/nor v15.3..maybe others can suggest fixest after more info)

Is there a way to make external HDD go to sleep when not in use? It is continuously spinning 24/7.

On a laptop it goes to sleep.

Settings>Device Preferences>USB> USB3 Superspeed
Settings>Device Preferences>Power>Power Key and timer>Shutdown

??Some China Box-USB ports have the power always on??

Find which version of Chrome you are using:
You may have to uninstall(reboot) and re-install Chrome to get permissions working. (If you back up Chrome's data/bookmarks...you may import the bugs that cause errors in the first place.)

Chrome_ v57.0.2987.132 (my fav.. very old.. obsolete )
New version? Chrome_ v103.0.5060.53 (uugh )

Try Firefox ..only marginally better than new Chrome

I think Cortex-A55 is s905x3..possible to be s905x4
If the other apps are not helpful:
I read that Antutu scores are 75 000 vs 100 000.

There are a few brands with firmware based on s905x3 on Slim's website. If memory and WiFi chips are the same you could experiment.

Is there way to get this rom for a alfawise a8 tvbox ? I've bought it in 2018. It's been 4 years but still works like a charm but I cannot use tv mode apps on it. Like i can use prime video but not tv based version of it. Is there way to fix this ? Also it has Rockchip 3229 Wi-fi 6051p board is mx4vr 2g/16g. Thank you. Android 7.1.2

Thank you very much. My box has 2 GB. of RAM, s905X3 Amlogic processor, and uses the RJ45 Ethernet controller. I am surprised there are not any ROMs for this box because, in terms of build quality, it is one of the best out there. Can you suggest any particular ROM I should test on this box? Thank you again.
