Rom aosp is good but I installed it now HBOMax and Disney + from play store and both apps don't have sound, box is Vontar X3.
Is there solution for that? Or wha't a reason? It's not muted or something like that

Try setting video quality to Save data mode. I had the same problem with Disney Plus and that's the only way that works for me. Hbomax works in my device with default video quality settings.

FROM ORIGINAL README.md (/data/ssh/files/README.original):
The sshd configuration file in `/data/ssh/sshd_config` can be edited as well,
but please be aware that some features usually present in an OpenSSH installation may be missing.
!!!!! Most importantly, password login is not possible using this package !!!!!


The bins are hart-coded to /data/ssh (sshd.pid, sshd_config and the key-files)

## INSTALL ## (only root)
Unpack ssh.zip to /data

unzip /PATH TO ZIP/ssh.zip -d /data

Set rights

chown -R root:root /data/ssh && chmod -R 0600 /data/ssh && chmod -R 0700 /data/ssh/files
and
mount -o remount,rw / && ln -s /data/ssh/files/lib/libcrypto.so.3 /system/lib/libcrypto.so.3 && mount -o remount,ro /

## SETTING UP ##
public key from root (host) -> /data/ssh/root/.ssh/authorized_keys
For configuration and setting up more user, take a look at: /data/ssh/files/README.original

Make keys (keygen creates no RSA-keys, ignore error)

/data/ssh/files/bin/ssh-keygen -A && rm -f /data/ssh/*rsa* && chmod 0600 /data/ssh/*key

## USE ##
Start/stop the server (file-system / will be remount to rw):

/data/ssh/files/sshd_start.sh

For X-plore + tvQuickActions use these files:
(X-plore don't use the actual start/stop.sh!
Instead it's using the start/stop.sh, when the link in X-plore was created.)

To auto start the server at boot, copy:

## REAL LIFE ##
Made it only for myself and it runs rock solid on my Tanix X4.
As a lack of more knowledge, all is made very simple.
Writing a big file to my X4 is around 82Mb/s and reading around 92Mb/s.

Works well with:
TotalCommander (sftp-plugin) -> scp + sftp
WinSCP ---------------------------------> scp + sftp
Filezilla ----------------------------------> sftp
Kitty/putty -----------------------------> ssh

Anybody may share how to use the new Viper4Android in SlimboxTV 11.8？

I allowed it root and try all settings, but still see the core is never being used…

I do not have a device for sbx v11.8

Several ideas before really getting deep.

* Did you do a clean firmware install (recommended !!! )?

* Root access is needed(Do not disable).

* Do not install third party equalizers/players... might have issues later.

* Have you gone to Viper >settings >Convolver selection?

* There should be an option to turn on >legacy mode if you find there is no processing.*

Getting a bit deeper, if you search around XDA,Github, Google
* Related to Root access, you can find Magisk (module available) or Supersu(init.d script available).

* Possible error VIPER FX. You may need to delete the viper files , reboot and check if it works.

been recommended slim box, i was after a recommendation for a cheapish 4k box UK on amazon perhaps if that is possible.
Minefield on there so many boxes.
All i really will be running is tivimate and maybe youtube , would like at least 1080p please and it to have a display that show the time ( don't ask) lol

Is Magisk possible on Slimbox?
I need root but also need to hide root from some applications that close if they detect it.

Using the Magisk APK I choose "patch boot" (or something like that) and it fails.

Has anyone tried Magisk with TWRP on one of these ROMs?

Question... I have a X98 S500 Tv stick and want to flash with Slimbox 11.9 but have tried with Amlogic burning tools 3.2 & 3.16 with out any luck, I cant flash with micro SD card because there is no slot. Any ideas how to flash this as the current firmware is not stable. Thanks.

Use Amlogic Burn Tool 3.2, and the USB type-c port on the stick to connect to your computer. Make sure you hold down the reset button on the stick as you plug it in to your PC.
If it is still not recognized, try a better quality USB to type-c cable.. or try reinstalling the drivers.
