You only overwrite the media_profiles.xml file if you are installing V2. I did the same thing. I replaced the original file and re installed the new camera apk by Kevinrocksman and that fixed me right up.

Just as a test follow all the instructions again. As soon as u copy it over and set permissions go to recover and wipe dalvik and cache. Then go to repair permissions (under recovery) then reboot

Nothing. It's confusing, I know. But V2 is the only one that needs media_profiles.xml overwritten. Make sure your media_profiles.xml fike is the stock one, and delete the SamsungCamera4 apk, then replace it with the one from Kevinrocksman. Set permissions to rw-r-r. Reboot and enjoy.

Since I overwrote the media_profiles.XML file, how can I obtain the stock one?

Shoulda backed up everything in that folder as per directions. Did you? If not, look for a stock ROM and extract it would be my only suggestion.

Yo here ia a thread with all the stock firmwares

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3183027

Find your variant in there, pull the media_profiles.xml fike and overwrite back to the original one.

I think he did. Problem was, he was flashing 3.2, but saw the instructions for V2 and overwrote media_profiles.xml. I knew the fix because I did the same thing.
Wait.. so installing 3.2 with the media_profile makes it freak out? I wonder if i included the wrong media profile in 3.2

Wait a minute.... I thought that, according to the directions, you are only supoosed to overwrite media_profiles.xml if flashing V2. Is it V2 and AFTER? Because I flashed 3.2 with the existing media_profiles.xml, because that's how I read it.
