ProjectX ROM (OneUI Based)

If I install this rom now, will I have to set up everything again once the version based on One UI 5 comes out? Or will it be just simply flashing?

Not sure if this is rom specific or general issue on S20 FE but I cannot use USB OTG device.
I have an external SSD which is correctly recognized on my Galaxy A41 (stock rom).
But when I connect it to my S20 running projectX rom, it is not recognized.
Nothing appears in "My files" app. MiXplorer generates an error ([Errno 32] Broken pipe).

Anyone else facing this issue?

The ROM looks really promising.
Does it include Samsung DeX?

Hopefully Samsung will publish OneUI 5 for the Snapdragon S20 FE soon.

Ok.
In the past there were apps activating USB otg like:

Neotg - Otg Enabler

You are not allowed to reupload the app and post it on youtube i will claim the video Remember this app requires Root Access to work ! Remember that if the app does not work its because of your rom kernel or your device try other roms and see...

But they seem to be outdated now.

No USB otg would be indeed a dealbreaker.

I see the rom comes pre-rooted (with stock Magistk I believe), but can I use Magisk Delta instead? Some of my apps need MagiskHide (Delta has it) to work properly and not detect the phone is rooted

TI want to install this rom on my phone. The stock rom has a 2000 call log limit. And it only records a month of calls for me. Has this issue been resolved?

Asking for ETA is bad practice. The devs who make this ROM work for free, and aren't obliged to do anything.

he's built his own rom by the look of it.

ProjectX is still being worked on. some things are quite different on snap OneUI 5 so it's going to take more time than usual.

the rom does come pre-rooted we can't make it install the magisk app, that's all you need to do, install the magisk app. there's even a copy of the apk inside the clean folder in the zip.
if you have an older version of ProjectX you'll have to activate the power menu options in the global actions menu found in labs

How to activate power menu in V4 sep version?, i only have the shutdown option.

Clean install by using ODIN to flash the latest version of OneUI. After which, install the ROM.

Hello all. I was hoping to get some clarification on something. I'm reading over these pages and I'm not totally clear on something. I have the S20 FE 5G. Its already rooted with TWRP. I still have OneUI 3.0, Android v11, Baseband G781USQS1CUAB.

What steps do I need to do first to be able to install this ROM? I see some mention of installing something else first via Odin but do I need to worry about losing TWRP? Or root access?
