I have been doing hours of searching over the course of several days on rooting my device. Every other root method uses older firmware or different build number, I even tried kingroot app that seems to have made problems with my battery even worse so I unrooted that way plus I cannot read chinese. My reason for wanting root is to change the wakelock ril-fd in order to fix my quick draining battery problems. On my 2nd battery which lasted almost a year, purchased a 3rd on amazon just now. Any help is much appreciated!
