Only wp7 games that require 1GB ram on WP8 could be installed. WP8 game require 1GB ram can't be installed.

about this limit you're talking about: i read in some forum about people installing real racing 2 on a 512mb ram device, and that game is not available for wp7. I'm trying to install it but i Always get some error, or before install or about at 90% of the installation.

Any thoughts about that? do you think there is a way to fix it?

I think they pushed an update to block this app or something. I went from being able to install almost everything to almost nothing. Even using the SD method results in an 'unsupported app' status with the xap file 'greyed out' and unclickable.

Was wondering; i find the fact that a descend equaliser function is missing in Winpho8 somewhay.. Lacking. Noticed that the Nokia 920 does have one:

So.. Looking at Sysapp Pusher, I see it has an "audio" app under System. Says it it used for equalising.. So.. ANyone tried this on non Nokia phones? Does this result in a working equaliser, or is it hardware dependent?

It does when you plug headphones in, its stock for Nokias.

Well... Downloaded it on the ATiv S.. Got a new option under settings, Audio.. Click it.. Get an emty screen only with an "Enhancements" title. Plugged in some phones.. Nothing. Was wordt the try though. Now for a way to uninstall these things without having to give the device a hard reset every time.. :')

don't reset, there most likely is one! @GoodDayToDie posted it somewhere, you can deploy an app using the same number/name(?) for (well, I don't know for what. I completely forgot it) and then uninstall it. I'm sorry I have no clue what to do, but if he reads this he can probably help you out

EDIT: i can download every app except HTC's it installs up to 80% than cancelled !!

Now let's see if any other Nokia function works on the Ativ S.. Makes messing about with these options a lot easier.

I tried it and it does work but the proxy seems to be down right now. You can definitely install it once the proxy starts working again.

Yeah The proxy is down...i have The Problem too...you Can install most of The apps except The htc ones or has someone here successfully installed htc apps on a other device

hi guys,
Couple of questions...first, about features, in particular resolution, apps looking for wvga, has any1 installed them successfuly, like Nokia's play to on Ativ, and if so how to do it.
Second, more important, maybe off topic, but installing root apps, like the timesync for wp7, can they be made to work, and what is missing on wp8, is it the root SDK they they use, I'd really need it to work soon, any chance I could help in porting timesync on wp8?

works fine after GDR3...

- enable proxy
- use sysapp pusher to find app (i had to click few times before install button appeared)
- wait for download to start (for me it stopped with "attention required" message)
- disable proxy
- long press on app > retry download
- installed.
