This one or the full nc4 tar?Hey,
I was wondering if anyone could post the link to the thread about upgrading from NC2 to NC4. I'm missing something and also possibly retarded.
Thank you![]()
Thanks, but I want to go from not stock NC2 to not stock NC4. Anyone know where I can get the link for this?? Thank you
It was never promised. It is possible. It is just so fragile of a process to have it set up, and a lot of trial/error.Will there ever be kexic
Not to be rude but to expect anything other than touchwiz roms on a retail note 3 is not likely to happen. Kexec is a dream that may or may not come to fruition. That's why I bought a developer note 3 and I'd suggest if touchwiz isn't doing it for you invest in a Dev edition. Will there ever be kexic
Deodex is best for customizing. No if u own the retail n3 u can only flash touchwiz.I've been running this for the past two days. With this along with SS for KK can we now install roms not based on TouchWiz? Such as AOKP or Cyanogen.
Also, without fully understanding the difference I installed the de-odexed version. After reading a bit into the difference I found that de-odexed is not optimized. Being someone who does not go far past root/xposed/and possibly a separate rom on SS, is it wise to keep it de-odexed, or should I switch?
Thanks in advance.
Yes.I have KOT4NH.N900VVRUNCN4, stock which the phone came with, 4.4.2 rooted.
Is this the latest ROM I should have if I want to keep the device rooted?
I followed the link out of curiosity... is it really 39MB firmware? The ones I used for my Galaxy S2 used to be hundreds of MB!does anyone have a link to this? The link in the OP is dead.
Disregard. I went to the wrong link. found it at https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407588081 that was in the OP.
You're stuck until someone figures out how to root 4.4.4 since it's not possible to roll back to 4.4.2I made the mistake of doing the OTA update on my Verizon SM-N900V to 4.4.4 and I now realize the talk on the net is that this version cannot be rooted.
Is it possible to rollback to 4.4.2? Or have I done myself in?
Yes... unfortunately, there's no current working root method for anything above 4.4.2 on our Verizon Note 3's.From what I can tell , there is no root method available for 4.4.4. Can someone confirm this ? I am so mad at myself . I was running 4.4.2 rooted with Jasmin rom V6.0.. I tried to flash the new version of Jasmin (6.1) using Flash Fire and my device would not boot . I had no choice but to odin to 4.4.4 to get a working device again . Am i out of luck completely ?
Thank you
