In this build, after installing to my note 3 as per instructions? I noticed that the wifi and mobile data seem to be both active, or, after turning on wifi the mobile data does not seem to turn off, and in some cases internet traffic seems to be routed on both networks - this is odd behavior, as in previous releases when wifi is turned on naturally mobile data turns off.

so, is mobile data still engaged even with wifi actively connected? if so, there is something wrong in two senses -

a. mobile data is still being used, reducing monthly allocation of data - this is bad
b. with both networks on, is there a privacy / security risk?

Thanks
Mobile data stays on for both modes, have you looked at settings/status/mobile network state?

Excellent work! Thank you, Hashcode, for your work with Safestrap! I loved your work with the Razr (XT912) when you did that, and continue to enjoy your work with the Note 3!

Interesting. ..what if you send your device in for repair and they upgraded it..either from Samsung or Verizon. ..sigh...after you get 4.4 can't get root..hmmm

Ok first off just want to thank Hash and Beans for all their work on all of this. Pure AWESOMESAUCE! I do however have a question. With the ability to revert back to 4.3 would mean the bootloader is unlocked or at least partialy unlocked right? Second if that os the case is it possible to use a different recover CWM for example? Tje only reason I ask is because when i first got my Note 2 and rooted it was before I ever heard of TWRP and ended up with a brick after attempting a back up.

The bootloader is still locked. If I remember correctly, it's something with the kk kernel that allows it to be rolled back. It was explained somewhere in this thread or possibly another. I'm not sure. But currently, the bl is still locked down tight.

The kk leak has the same os identifiers as 4.3 which allows us to roll it back. When the official ota comes out, the numbers will be different preventing a rollback.

Anyone experiencing, random reboots? Is there a fix. I am new to this phone, so if there are logs, what would the path be?

It's always the next big "thing".

Anyone having a hard time getting to recovery with the nc2 kk? It gets to the recovery but after it flashes a white then 4 seconds later it loads into recovery. This normal ATM?

In the KK update thread someone is reporting with screen shots updated and was able to keep root via survival mode in the SU apk. There's small hope. I'm sticking with NC2 myself though lol
Yeah. That may be. Unfortunately they will not be able to roll back to nc2 or jb because they took the newer baseband's bl, correct?
