NC4 baseband is working pretty well for me on Beans NC2. The tests are from 2 different servers while I'm sitting in my closed garage.
Thank you ! , I wish I lived in an area with those speeds ! On the interstate near my work I can sometimes pulldown 43mbps but my average is about 18-20 just about the same as my WiFi :(

Anyone having a hard time getting to recovery with the nc2 kk? It gets to the recovery but after it flashes a white then 4 seconds later it loads into recovery. This normal ATM?

Have you or do you know of anyone that had been able to roll back to 4.3 after flashing this?

If you take the OTA there is no going back

mehh.. all im doing is telling people to hold off on updating if they want to retain root because going forward there is no publicly diclosed CVE that we can use on kitkat at this point.. if ur here your more than likely here about rooting, roms, etc.

if u want the ota go for it i wont stop you but the bootloaders are definetly incremented so no going back and getting root

nc2 bootloader = 0000000200000009
nc4 bootloader = 0000000300000009
If you just odin the modem and stay on NC2 should be fine to go back if you want

I odin'd the nc4 modem and it kept cycling between lte and no signal at all repeatedly. It would stay connected for maybe a minute or two then drop for 5 seconds reconnect repeat. Any ideas?

Have you rebooted since you flashed and it loaded up? Sometimes it's good to do another reboot after it flashes and boots up.

Found the cause

Mobile data stays on for both modes, have you looked at settings/status/mobile network state?

Actually - as it turns out, there were a couple of applications interfering with the switchover from mobile data to wifi, whereas wifi turn on, but mobile data did not turn off...

1. Galaxy Locker - interfered with the functionality described above
2. CANID.apk - appears to use mobile data and arbitrarily turns on mobile data even though wifi is already on

Having said that - I am not sure if these apps use mobile data on purpose, or are they not exactly compatible with the 4.4.2 NC2 - NC4 versions

removing both apps seems to clear up the issue completely -

however, I think visual voicemail for Verizon arbitrarily turns on mobile data while wifi is on but I do not consider that "broken" behavior, I know that My Verizon used to have the issue...
