PSA: Huawei Ascend XT (H1611) you can use a 64gb SD Card even if it says max is 32gb.

And if that works well for you, then that's the way to go :) . I was going to pop a 128GB in for a quick test, but don't have to right now with your good post :) .

I have a Samsung Evo 128 GB

And I use Folder Mount from the play store to move all my apps to the SD card.

How long have you been using the 128GB with Folder Mount on the XT? Any problems you can share before I dive in :) ?

Okay, so I had a memory lapse earlier. Now I recall trying Folder Mount on the XT in the past, and just as before, it's not working for me today. When I create an internal storage paired folder in external storage and an app starts writing file into the internal storage folder, both internal storage and external storage folders don't match :( . On another phone, this works fine as I've been using it for weeks on that phone.

adb and adoptable store
Tell me more! indeed adoptable storage is blocked.

I'd like to just stay stock and be able to move most of my apps to the SD card. I dont want to root as I want PoGo and other apps to work without any workarounds.

Your ROM is tempting if it becomes available unrooted!

go here for questions suggestions etc being wrong thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/-t3605342 unrooted rom uploading

Hey Madvane20, I got a quick question. I just downloaded your "Rooted Swift n fast b170 ROM" thanks for that btw.

But, I flashed it for the purpose of acquiring the Adoptable Storage feature that as we know is not available on Stock Rom. So I'm on this new Room and I don't see the option to Turn my SD card into Adoptable Storage anywhere....

Was I wrong in thinking that your Room had that feature? If it does have it how and where do I find this option?

Or do I have to use the ADB partition cmd lines for Adoptable storage? If I do are there any downsides doing it that way instead of having Marshmello do it, itself?

Thanks Madvane20 u da man

Pretty certain link2sd only uses default methods to relocate apps - basically just lets you 'move to sd card' en masse, which is useless as it is disabled. Apps2sd is a bit more useful, specifically formats your card with options to either link or bind app resources to it (accomplishes the same as more advanced users using bash/console/adb commands )

link2sd was only thing that worked for me when i was using a phone that had native apps2sd working cause it allowed u to use a sdcard that u format to include the specail partition which it can and will move apps to unless somethings changed apps2sd wouldnt work if the os itself has has option disabled to move apps to sdcard. least thats what was going on with the phone i had. the only success on that phone was link2sd. only mentioned it to help see if it would work i dont use my huawei as my daily phone so ive had no need to use any kind of adoptable storage or apps to move or install apps on a sdcard
