Ok, good to know, maybe we'll get a 6.0 rooted tot soon!Yes, OTA and I got an error message and "failed". Even tried the VZW updater on the PC and it wouldn't even "find" the new update.

First tick upgrade, point to KDZ, close the program, then reopen it. File should still be pointed to, you can now tick refurbish and begin. How do I flash the kdz only? It does not show up as an option in my LGup app. Sorry, it's like I've developed flashing amnesia... LOL
Edit: OK, got it. Choose UPGRADE and not REFURBISH
Edit #2: Upgrade using KDZ worked, but wiped my phone. Downloaded OTA, rebooted, and "updating software (1/2)", then (2/2) in progress. Looks promising.
Edit #3: And we're good to go!
Yes, you flash the stock KDZ to unroot. It must be a hard wipe for it to actually work. The only thing that you will notice is that it will take about 2 hours for the entire backend from Verizon to update to allow you to upgrade to Android 6. I also reccomend restoring your backup before you upgrade to Android 6.Just to verify, to flash back to non root, all I have to do is flash the stock KDZ using the upgrade option in the LGUP program?
Ugg, I hate hard wipes, but so be it. I don't have a reliable non root backup program, so I will just have to re-download everything I have and then wait to do my update later today.Yes, you flash the stock KDZ to unroot. The easiest non-rooted backup program available is LGBackup. Just go to settings then Backup/Restore. It's so easy.Ugg, I hate hard wipes, but so be it. I don't have a reliable non root backup program, so I will just have to re-download everything I have and then wait to do my update later today.
Thanks for the update.

(YAY THIS IS MY POST THAT I GET SENIOR MEMBER IN)
You are supposed to go to the upgrade section, attach the kdz file to the program, then you click refurbrish and start it.Congrats on the Senior Member Tag!!!
I flashed the kdz, but it didn't wipe my device. Am I supposed to use Refurbish? or Upgrade?
Right on. That worked. I'm now using crappy wifi to get my apps restored. Then on to the next step. Thanks for the helpYou are supposed to go to the upgrade section, attach the kdz file to the program, then you click refurbrish and start it.
Haven't seen any news about downgrading, not at this timeIf I take the update and am unimpressed, can I gain root by refurbing kdz back to 11b then upgrading the rooted tot?
Just wanted to make sure that mm didn't mess with anything and have me locked in.
I keep getting the same error at 9% in LGUP on the rooted tot. Can flash 11b kdz fine and have drivers setup properly. What was the resolution on yours?I keep getting this error![]()

Come to find out the tot didn't finish downloading and I thought that it did, @tungkick helped me, via Team viewer. All he done was re-download the tot. Once he re-download for me it worked fine.I keep getting the same error at 9% in LGUP on the rooted tot. Can flash 11b kdz fine and have drivers setup properly. What was the resolution on yours?
Update:
Download in post#1 was 1,593,906 kb and gave error. Download in post #7 was 1,593,816 kb and worked. Suspect bad download since there was no hash to verify with.
I was getting this error. Try flashing the 11b kdz in upgrade mode first. Then try the rooted 11b tot. Seemed to work for me.So i followed all the steps and i got this error using the LGUP program Error code = 0x2000, Tot length verify: FAILED 2312634368 / 4493672448, please take a look and help me out! thanks
