Read post #4
Read the file size of the tot and make sure it downloads fully. That was my problem the tot didn't fully download....

Thank you both so much. I think the op needs to update his posts or put them on MEGA to be sure that there's no issues.I was stuck at the 9% error too. The post by tekjester(post #9 in this thread) helped out. Use his link to get the TOT, the others in this thread were corrupted, at least for me.
I would believe those would have to be flashed in recovery like twrpIs there a way to try out different radios my signal reception seems to be getting worse.

We don't absolutely need the bootloader unlocked but we do need a bump'd version of twrp like the LG G3 has.Man I hope someone is working on a boot loader unlock, lol.

Kickin' it on my VS990
Hey @thecubed, have you tested if the V10 can be bumped like the G3 could, now that it is rooted? Thx in advanced!Hear, hear
As of right now there is no way to go back.First off, I want to just say a big THANK YOU to @tungkick! I haven't been on the forum in months, and was unaware that this was finally achieved. I signed up on the pledge sheet for $50.00. Prior to seeing this, I took the update to Marshmallow. Is there a way for someone to help me flash back to version prior to update, and then help my [email protected]$$ do this root? This is my first LG phone ever, and the process is very different from all of my prior Samsung phones. I'd like to get rooted, and pay this man for his efforts. Please advise, anyone. Thank you so much!
Can't he downgrade to 11b stock using lgup refurbish mode then root using upgrade mode? Has anyone tried that?As of right now there is no way to go back.
Wait, we're you on mm 22a or lp 11b when you did the stock refurbish? That's exactly what I did. I used LGUP in refurbish mode to flash 11b stock.. which unrooted my phone. Then I rooted again via upgrade. I just wanted a clean install.
Ok so I'm a newbie, but please correct me if I'm wrong but i'd like to suggest an edit to the OPPlease check the MD5 of your download before attempting to flash.
If your downloaded file does not match, DO NOT FLASH IT.
MD5 for the rar: 301d91c390ab3797c29d3b3e32f0e673 file size: 1,593,816 kb
MD5 for the extracted tot: 64c836bda08eba9341221ef261b942e5 file size: 4,388,352 kb
Use this tool to calculate the MD5 http://www.winmd5.com/

1. Download this.United States Public Download Links:
LG UP Download: MEGA.CO.NZ Download | Google Drive Download Alternative
VS990 TOT File: Google Drive Download | MEGA.CO.NZ Download Alternative
3. Extract the RAR File to get the .TOT file.Just a clarification: You MUST have the LG V10 USB Drivers installed for the program to work. I have done this for years and that is the one thing people seem to forget.
You are correct. I calculated the MD5 from the downloads on post #7Ok so I'm a newbie, but please correct me if I'm wrong but i'd like to suggest an edit to the OP
Downloads don't match the md5 but post #7 does:
