Purchasing a Xoom.

Hey guys, this is a question for the UK Xoom owners. Is there anywhere in the UK I can actually walk in to a shop and walk away with a Xoom the same day?

I have looked at Dixons, Currys, Comet, which all seem to be the same company nowadays, and all of them only offer 3-5 day online delivery. I would like to be able to walk into a shop have a look at the ~£500 piece of hardware I am about to buy and see if it is actually worth my money before I part with it.

Do this group have exclusive sales rights in the UK at the moment? Because I can't find it at any other highstreet store, I hate waiting for delivery, the aforementioned don't even offer next day delivery! I have to wait until Wednesday before I can get one delivered...

Aye, I noticed that last night. I also noticed the price, £579.99 SIM free! I don't know who they think they are kidding, plus it's a silver one, I don't know if I fancy silver but I am just being picky.

I'm going to go to Dixons/Currys in about half hour or so, see if they have a display model I can have a play with. I might just get one there and wait for the five days delivery.

I suppose the next most desirable tablet is the iPad 2 now, at least Apple had the brains to let you actually walk into a shop pay for one and walk out. I'm such a child, I hate waiting for things.

Thanks my man but despite PC Worlds website saying they don't stock them in store, I went into Bedford store and picked one up yesterday. Very kind of you all the same.
