Is anyone working on a kernel to enable monitor mode on the built in wireless interface?
Nexus 6 had monitor mode and packet injection.I have used both Kalipwn and Nethunter , I have never come across any phone or tablet that has a wireless chipset capable of monitor mode, every setup I personally had Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P and ran Nethunter , I always had to have external USB wifi adapter capable of monitor mode like the RTL or a Broadcom version.
Nice, I will look for one of those on swappa. Be neat to play with.Nexus 6 had monitor mode and packet injection.
We would need a kernel that supports it, if someone could build one, you can merge the kali nethunter kernel here:Do we have monitor mode?
The Nexmon Project is the most Brilliant Thing ever.I am able to patch firmware of Various devices and run monitor mode by Preloading a lib file.Take a look and if your device's chip is listed then you just got lucky.I have used both Kalipwn and Nethunter , I have never come across any phone or tablet that has a wireless chipset capable of monitor mode, every setup I personally had Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P and ran Nethunter , I always had to have external USB wifi adapter capable of monitor mode like the RTL or a Broadcom version.
