Hi guys, I made a fatal mistake and I need your help! I don't believe but I kind bricked my Head Unit so I need your help to back to my default configurations.

What I did to f* my HU? see:

I get into a secret menu from Settings -> About Device then tap Kernel Version -> OS Version -> Kernel Version -> OS Version -> Kernel Version -> OS Version.

I reduced the contrast to zero and unintentionally hit the back button. This caused me to be unable to see anything on the screen.
Now I need to go back to that screen and hit the Reset SeekBar Values button. How do I do this if I don't see anything?

Now I just see a black screen, I can't see anything. Do I need to reset this setting, is there any way? I already unplugged the power and turned it on again but continued with the black screen. I can only normally see the boot image. I can even listen to music if I know where the play button is. I am using AGAMMA LAUNCHER.

Can you help me by recording a detailed video of your HU showing how I get to this "Display Color Adjust Settings" screen? I'll try to reach this screen without seeing anything, just following where everything is in your video!

• Plan B:

How do I safely reset settings? (Hard reset would work? Like if I press reset button and clean data and cache, would work?)

• Plan C:

How do I reinstall the firmware if I don't see anything on the screen?

You can monitor by connect HDMI cable to new monitor then use touch screen( "Guess" by "Your Head Unit") for access to factory setting again,
Select to reset seekBar value
or slide bar at contrast adjust bar

Hello to all!

After some days owning one of our favorite HU I gathered some info I want to share with yall. :cyclops:
Due to some random system reboot during normal operation I have also conducted investigation on heat dissipation. Simply put, these HUs has bad heat dissipation from factory.

• The system during an AnTuTu CPU stress test hit 80 C which is not healthy for the unit and it can cause thermal shutdown as thermal throttling is not sufficiently implemented.
• I added a medium sized heat sink and that reduced peak temperature to around 50 C.
• To make the system cool on hot summer days I added also a 30x30x10 fan. With fan the peak reduced to around 40 C.

After the modification my HU is running stable, I was not able to make it reboot so far no matter how hard I use it.
P.S.: If any1 has info on the 4-pin connector next to the big white connector please let me know!

Bro I burned that part too

Its original name is dfbxb but I couldn't find it.

I shorted pins 1 and 5 and the usb outlets started working

After uninstalling smd
I grounded the green part and turned it on.
It also does not start USB recognition.
Did I do it right?

Yes, I combined it with green colored legs.

i did this and the usb worked

But it should not touch the chassis (-)

I don't know. I don't have the full Version. I use since over a year the trial Version and I didn't could find any limitations. Works fine like a charm.
