Hi all,

Trying to understand this concept and unsure if I missed a step or I need to wait for a new custom kernal.

The new 3.1 came with a new bootloader. My previous bootloader was locked; does the new bootloader need to be re-unlocked, or do the same settings apply? (I am assuming it would need to be unlocked again via the same method via ADB, right?)

Second, I was running Tiamat 1.4.1, which allowed me to keep SD card support, which is great. However, I am no longer able to overclock. Why would SD card support be enabled but not the overclocking?

If it is important - the way I came from 3.0.1 to 3.1 is by following BRD's instructions for 3g users in the development thread by flashing the 4 files.

Thanks in advance!

you do not need to re-unlock the bootloader. the overclock is done within the kernel and the SD card control within the system. since we do not have a custom kernel for 3.1 yet, you cannot overclock.
Thank you - the SD Card/kernel issue makes sense, I just needed someone to connect the dots for me:)

A follow up to the bootloader question though, if it's new, why wouldn't it need to be re-unlocked? Wouldn't it come pre-locked? TIA! :)
