[Q] 3g data stopped working

3G data stopped working suddenly today during lunch (no joke). Nothing was installed nor removed.
When I go to Menu -> Settings -> About Phone -> Status, the Mobile network state stays in "connecting" forever.
WiFi still works (I turn it off to check if the 3g works).

I took an old backup I had (in recovery mode) and restored, and even so, my 3g didn't come back.

Anyone has any idea of what can be done?

are you running CM 10 or something else? might be that you reached the limit and that it is blocking your 3G because of that. When you go to menu - data usage is it set to set mobile data limit? might be that you want to turn that off or increase your limit.
