[Q] 4.2 to 5.0

My Nexus 7 is currently rooted on 4.2. Can I go directly to 5.0, or do I have to update to 4.3 and 4.4 first?

Yes, but I don't think the OTA will take you there directly. You can manually flash to 5.0 though, which is what I would do.
