[Q] 4.3 stock ROM sending international sms to 00919560345888

I just verified my accound and i found i have 1.20 euro to pay. I checked the detailed list and i found that i have 10 sms sent to nr. 00919560345888.I found another threads on another forums that says this an India number (UEMK4 is India rom), and other ppl that says the india rom is sending unauthorised texts I saw that everytime when i flashed the stock rom, the cost advances with 12 cents.

Does anyone else have this problem?

It happened the first day i installed DrKetan´s ROM v6 (MK4) :7/12/2013
Just only one SMS to the same number you said :00919560345888.
I realized 2 days after.

I don't think its an Indian number 'cause the country code for India is +91.I am also using mk4 firmware and doesn't face this issue. Maybe there's some spyware installed in your phone.

i dont have any spyware. Everytime i formatted system + internal, and i use old and legit apps. Now after some days, the cost remains at 1.20e. If i reflash, it will be 1.32e, i bet. :/

This seems strange.
If you are rooted,use the greenify app to hibernate apps that are running in the background.See if this solves your problem.

It's a serious issue.
It seemingly didn't happen with me on DN3 but if it would I would inform the ROM developers about it.

when you're dialing international, country code can be prefixed by '00' or '+' sign

Hmm..then it sure is an indian number..a mobile number to be exact 'cause it has 10 digits in it.91 is the country code for india.
But the thing is I plus a number of users have installed the indian stock 4.3 plus the roms based on it,and they haven't faced such issues otherwise threads would be full of this issue...plus samsung would have pulled the update back if there would be this type of issue.Don't you think??

I am just guessing, but perhaps some users do not have access to the sent/received SMS record. In my country, only people who has post-paid subscription can get detailed billing records, but those with pre-paid subscription can't.

Well did a little search and here is the result:Its nothing but Samsung's way of registering the device after the firmware installation.
This isn't exclusive to note 2 only but also s3,s duos etc.

no. it isn't. you can't see the sms in archive

Any official statement from Samsung about this? ALL samsung android?

So far I have only flashed DN3 ROM, yet quite a number of factory reset were done too. I can only check my phone bill next month to see if such SMS is present.

Never used Dr Ketan´s rom so maybe that´s the reason. Don´t really know my carrier´s policy about international SMSs.
