Hi,

Seems a bit weird for me. When my device heats up I always check the following things:
  1. Is my device with 4G or mobile data turned on? Do I need it now?
    • No - Turn it off. Mobile data consumes lots of power and while running it will heat your device a lot, as well as battery drain your device
  2. Is my device with Location Services turned on?
    • Yes - Turn it off. Same as mobile data
  3. Is WiFi searching for networks without any need?
    • Yes - Turn it off. Useless scanning is, as its name implies, useless, so it'll be running stuff in background that won't let your device sleep and as consequence it will heat up.
  4. Is there any app running in background that don't let my device sleep?
    • Yes - Install Greenify to hibernate any wakelock app that won't let your device sleep and will keep it running, also heating up and battery draining
  5. Am I out of signal range?
    • Constant signal range scanning is power hungry, turn on airplane mode

All the best,
~Lord
