I have a Defy+ 526 with cm10 (build date 20130220)
how to make default video recording ( 4.1 camera ) app record 720p ?
is there any other recorder that can handle 720p on the defy 526 ? except the lgcamera which isn't working for me ?

SOLVED !!!! Video Recording 720p Motorola Defy+ 526 :

1 : Install Quarx CM10 build 20131030-Nightly-mb526 (stable on Defy+ 526)
2 : Replace default media_profiles.xml in "system/etc/" with media_profiles.xml from here : https://github.com/Quarx2k/android_device_moto_mb526
3 : reboot phone
4 : record 720p video with Camera JB+

It is not what I am looking for , I need one that films like a regular camcoder , lapse it pro is a video tool used for filming time lapse clips .
Anyone got a solution for making the jelly bean inbuilt camera record 720p instead of 480p ?

Nothing works , still no solution for 720p recording on Defy 526 Jelly Bean .

There's a problem with encoding, which is present in all roms except stock based(this includes miui and cm7). The stock based ones can use certain libraries to encode the videos properly
