anyone else noticed that the Phone seems to support 5GHz Wlan ?
First I was in the "hidden menu" (3845#*880# from phone app) there I was scrolling around and discovered some 5xxx Frequencies in the Wlan test tool. Then I downloaded a Wifi-Test-App and it also seems to show 5GHz networks in the vicinity.
Anyone with an 802.11a accesspoint that can please confirm this ?
I can not remember that this was advertised anywhere. Actually I thought that it was a pitty that it cannot do 5GHz, but seems like it can.
If this gets confirmed it looks like this phone has many features that are not advertised. This wifi thingie, Glonass, maybe even it has digital TV in it somewhere ?!? :laugh:
