In the news lately has been this revelation that almost all Android apps are susceptible to compromise.

http://techcrunch.com/2013/07/04/android-security-hole/

Does anyone know if the MC2 (or, MA7?) update addresses this vulnerability? I'm running Whomp, which is great but stuck at MA7.

Thanks,
Mike
Basically its the ability of side loading apps taken out of context by the media, the best way to avoid malware is to pay attention to what you put on your phone, just like you wouldn't install random apps from questionable websites onto your PC. Only download and update apps through the play store (or other trusted legit sites like Amazon, Samsung app store), pay attention to the rating and comments, don't use cracked and pirated apps.

It wouldn't surprise me if Apple was behind this so called "security hole" scare to try and boost up iPhone sales. It wouldn't be the first time.
