Blu Life One M vs Micromax Canvas Magnus A117

Hi: I have the clone of the Magnus from Micromax that seems popular here. I was glad to see a rom upgrade to KitKat. It worked, but the modem frequencies must not match the HSDPA+ and/or HSUPA of 850/1700/1900/2100. Without that freq. change the phone runs in vanilla 3G mode. Anyway to change that so I can use the updated ROM? Kinda a big deal....as I could go to 42 Mbps in US with AT&T.
Also, anyway to make it faster (had to ask.... )

Poor Sim signal

ive instaled the custom rom and its working good, but im having issues with the signal being too low and easily lost and the link to repair it isnt working..... need some help here!!
