Has anybody else run across an error where the missing apps Aroma installer fails at the end? Here is the recovery log:

Edit: Got it working after editing a few lines out of the updater script. I'll post the modified version in the FAQ in case anybody else needs it.

Data Issues

@FinZ28 You may want to add this on as well

For individuals experiencing data and messaging issues (IE AiRave, roaming, Messaging ect)

Dial ##data# (##3282#)
Select "Edit Mode"
Enter your MSL (Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.esccode.msl&hl=en)
Select "Data Profile"
Select "Active Profile"
Select "1" then "OK"
At the top of the screen select "Menu"
Select "Commit Modifications"

If that doesn't work call Customer service and ask them to reset your profile, they should have you shut your phone off so they can push the reset and when turned back on it will go through the first activation process.

I'll add it when I have a few minutes to get on my laptop. Haven't had any time this afternoon. Interestingly enough, though, I was curious about my data profile setting after seeing this post and saw that mine was already set to 1.

Mine wasn't and it was causing an error. I'm not really sure why the setting was mis-set but once I changed it all my data issues were solved.

wifi tethering

I've been playing with my native wifi tethering as well as wifi tether v3.2-beta2 app and can not get either to work. I've search and someone said they use wifi router but its a paid app. Anyone know how to get tethering working other than a paid app?

I guess it's good we don't have to pay for help. The app is $1.99, I know times are tuff but you can't just swing that and be done with it?

Well I'm not sure if im going to stick with this rom or go back to 4.1.2,so I didnt want to buy the that tethering app. Are you currently using the tether router app??

I wasn't trying to be difficult, it's just been dealt with in the original thread.

Yes, I use the tether router app. It's the only one, it seems, that will tether on 4g with the new 4.3 RUU. These are the settings that work:

Interface: wlan0
Method: 3-HostApd
Drivers: nl80211
-under Tweaks
Check HostApd Patch

I used the all in one from here 4.13.651.3 Firmware + TWRP Recovery to update to the new firmware, and i flashed the odexed version, and everything booted. When i went to try to flash v12, it just hung on the HTC screen. I tried to wipe every which way, then reflashing, and even tried v11, but nothing seems to be working.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was only aware that there were 3 versions of this, and possibly a 4th being circulated privately. Maybe you ended up with a ROM for an old partition layout? Where did you get your download?

I have a couple of quick questions to people using this rom.

Any issues or bugs?

How is landscape prizm? I know on other roms I usually makes things lag compared to stock. Is this still the case?

How do I get on the good graces to get the v4 version? I'd really like to see what was done with the audio as coming from viperrom the stock sound is rather lacking.

Im currently running captain throwbacks release and its done me very well, and if this runs just as good i'd like to try out the sense 5.5

Rom is great. Beats does kinda suck. Not sure about v4. Landscape you have to push the modded prism.apk from the thread but ur works great. No huge issues that I have noticed.
