[Q&A] eZKAT 4.4.2 ROM

Battery Issues

I'm using this ROM on my Tmobile Note 2. It works great, except the battery is acting weird.
First, if the battery is below 30%, then my network shuts off. The only way to get data is to go on WiFi or to reboot and also to recharge. Second, sometimes when I have 40% battery and reboot, my phone comes back on with around 15% battery. Then the above happens - the network goes off.
When the network goes off, I mean I see the "do not enter" icon (a circle with line through it) and 0 on the network activity.
One other issue I have is that turning on the ultra power saving mode does nothing. I'm going to flash some apks I saw recently posted and see if that does anything.

Anyone have a fix for the battery?

Buenas nada mas quisiera saber como se llaman las apk que se ejecutan al estar en la pantalla principal o de inicio y dezlizar el dedo hacia arriba desde la parte de abajo..... tambien la apk que se jecuta cuando se le da en la misma pantalla principal y uno presiona una vez el boton de home helllpppp me gusta muchisimo esta rom

help plz 2015

I'm lost and I'm noob to android just came over from the Apple side and tbh I'm loving android ..but my question it ok I have an att Samsung Galaxy Note2 sgh i317
And I put ezkat 4.4.2 on it and my base band is I317UCUBMK6 I'm using a t-mobile prepaid Sim but I can't make calls not even 611 I only get not registered on network but my WiFi works plz help and thanks in advance

Either flash the superuser in the ezkat thread 5 times and that works or download supersu from play store and it will update the binary and give you root access again.

One-handed operation

First of all, this is a completely awesome ROM. However, I do have a couple of questions.

Has anyone else had trouble with the One-Handed Operation not working? Is there a fix for this?

Also, is there anyway to activate the Ultra Power Saving mode?

I haven't had issues with the one handed operation. As far as the power save mode it's like the radio mode an unavailable for Note 2s. I know it was one of the features I hoped worked as well. If you find out different please let the rest of us know.

Hi everyone, I'm new to flashing ROMs and I have an issue with this one. After I use Orion to upload the TWRP I can't get that to boot up, it only boots into the Andriod Recovery. Anything I'm missing?

I have been rooting and installing roms for at least 8 years. For some reason I am just having all sorts of trouble. For one thing I have NEVER messed with flashing modems, or kernels. So I have had excellent success with CleanRom AT&T adition for note 2. It just works, problem is, it is old OS version.

Basically, what I am asking here is, how can I get the same modem (or whatever) that is in cleanRom? The signal is great and the data is great. This and many other Roms I have installed do not have strong signal.

How do I find a proper modem for this phone? I have the AT&T SGH-i317, but that is all I know. I have tried to read about this stuff, but it is VERY hard to decipher what to do with all the updates, and what works with what rom, or android version.

Can someone help me find the proper modem? Please do not just send me to a FAQ, I have tried and I need specific help.

Did you enter your carrier specific APN information ??
It's under your network settings. ..

The carrier information can be found in the superthread...

Be sure to save the new APN once completed. ..

Thanks for trying to help for me, i just flash again the stock 4.3 rom. I found my problem, it was Imei Null/Null, and i don't know how to fix that, i was trying to backup imei, but i something not understand about that , so i choose the easiest way with stock rom.

The development of this rom is on hold indefinitely. ..

Out of respect for the developer I won't reveal the Details. ..but I can tell you that he has suffered a tragic loss within his immediate Family. ..

We send our Prayers To EZ again tonight. ..
He is a Friend. ..and we wish only the best for him....
