Thanks for the reply ez. I did double check apn and is correct. Not sure what to do next. Beta 2 gave me no problems, ran like a dream. Maybe wipe again, flash beta 2 and dirty flash?

Well, multiple roms and restores brings me the same thing. Unknown baseband, no sim and reboots every 2 min or so. Getting frustrated.

Woke up this morning and tried to load a webpage and mobile data worked all of a sudden. Maybe my network was just having problems yesterday. Anyhoo - thanks for the help and suggestions. Enjoying the ROM. Still can't decide if I like 240DPI or not. The extra real estate is nice. If I want to downgrade from 240DPI to regular how do I do that? Just re-flash?

Got it! It was the wrong radio I think? When I flashed I317MVLUCMK5 to the phone, everything went back to normal. I guess this is an incorrect rom for my phone? When I bought the phone, I was told it was an AT&T model but when I checked yesterday, it says SGH-i317M. Is this rom still useable for me?

It will still work. Just make sure you have the correct modem

After I downloaded the latest eZKAT I tried to install it like I had before with the same results:stuck at Samsung logo. So I downloaded the latest agni kernel for 7105 (4.2) and used the latest TWRP and installed the rom and kernel together and guess what? I wiped everything except internal storage this time. It installed and BOOTED right up! Who knew? Every dog has his day after all. Thought you might like to know....:good:

i was originally running tw 4.4 v3 by mikekelso. i decided to give ezkat v2 a try, did a full wipe install(dalvik,cache,system,data,internal) and then flashed keyboard fix, rebooted and went throught setup, when trying to type in wifi password the google speech box came up. i decided to start over, booted into twrp and went to do another full wipe, and when i went to confirm by sliding the slider bar it froze at the end and rebooted, i tried it numerous times with the same conclusion, a freeze and reboot. any help with what direction i should go in would be appreciated

Hmm try cwm. Then back to twrp.

@eZdubzitmk4 just caught your handle/avatar reference (guess I'm a little slow). I'm a mk2/b3 guy myself - but love the dubs. Owned a MK4 TDI for awhile though. Always good to find other dubbers lurking around :good:. You on vortex or other vw forums at all too?
