[Q&A] [GT-I9190/I9195][ROM][Official][5.1.1] CyanogenMod 12.1 for S4 Mini 3G/LTE

Every gapps flash on a CM rom for this phone results in either all the google apps crashing or endless bootloops.
Do lollipop gapps require a specific bootloader to function properly on this phone?
I'm pulling my hair out trying to get the damn thing stable!

Problem with installation

Status 7 mostly means that your zip-file is corrupt. Redownload the rom and try to flash that.

Hi guys, I just flashed the cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K3-serranoltexx on my I9195 and since then I have no signal/data connection. Wi-fi, BT and everything else is working perfectly fine, only the signal/3G isn't working. I can't call or using 3G, nothing. Previously I was with Samsung stock rom (4.4kk) and it was working. Do you have the same problem? Any solution or suggestion?

Try re-installing after wiping cache, data and dalvik cache. Im on cm-12.1-20151117-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO1K3-serranoltexx and it is working perfectly fine. :good:

For gapps ,there are "pure" gapps at opengapps.org (our phone is "arm") and you have the choise with full,stock...nano...pico...

And for undervolting,more performance ,best battery-life,more options with aduitor ===> Alexax will make a new kernel for customs Lollipop ! Coming soon....

For "status 7" ....errors ,try to re-download the rom and/or change the recovery (the traditional "cwm 6.0.5." : never problem^^ )

For best flash : mount and storage > format : system + cache +data + data_media internal sd0....and wipe Dalvilk.

If there are problems with cm ,try last Resurrection Remix LP 5.5.8 !!! Fabulous....

The pico package from TK gapps (former PA gapps).

Reasons: slim, works flawlessly, has a scripting feature to further reduce the gapps size and to remove any system app

Root gone after 21.11

Hi there,
I just flashed the 21.11 nightly and now my root is gone. Normally I would use recovery to get it back, but however it is not working.
Tried Super SU as well, but for some reason it cannot update?

Anyone have an idea what to do now? Have a few root apps, so would like to have it back.

Try this (if you didn't before):
Goto settings/Developer options/Root access. If root is disabled set one of the others. I set Apps and Adb.

Did you clean flash? If so check in developer options that allow root is selected.

Hi there,
yes, did a clean flash, did then a flash without cleaning cache/dalvik, tried to reinstall Super SU as app, deactivated and activated root section in developer option. Nothing helped.

Then used the superSU .zip to reflash via CWM, that helped. Feels weird, and I am not sure if I broke anything, but it seems to be working now. Have no clue how this came up.

Facebook app installation

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a issue with the ROM or not but I can't figure out what else it could be...

I haven't been able to update my facebook app for a while, every other app is fine. It just seems like facebook fails to update with unknown error. I've uninstalled it and tried to re-install and I can't get it to re-install.

I have tried: Installing from play store, downloading apk to phone and installing, installing with adb (to receive error of FAILED_DEXOPT).

So I'm out of ideas... can anyone help?
