Any solution of encryption unsuccessful without loosing photos n videos.

Hello, I am having the same problem (encryption unsuccessful). I installed custom rom (5.0) into S3. It was working good but few days when I was using camera, the battery was too low and died. Since then my phone is showing the error.

I have some good pictures & videos in it. Is there any solution to save them. ? Greatly appreciate for your reply.

Asus TF300GT Encryption unsuccessful

Good day,

I've recently received an Asus TF300GT tab and used it for a few minutes until the Encryption Unsuccessful error popped up. Everyone (here and on transformer forums) seems to think it might be a hardware issue but reading some of the posts and threads here, it seems that there is something that can be done about it. It also seems that the ADB utility can be instrumental but frankly I have NO IDEA where to begin. All the threads here mostly refer to ODIN which I understand is only for Samsung devices? My device was not rooted, and due to Android not being accessible, I cannot unlock the bootloader to approach the problem from that angle. All I have is the external SD card--which is readable. The device can upload the latest firmware but the encryption unsuccessful error still pops up.

I find it hard to believe that this is a hardware issue and Asus just wants to replace the motherboard and want to charge an arm and a leg for it, which is not worth it!

Any advice will be appreciated. I've been getting advice from the Asus Transformer forums but none of that helped and the people there have now gone quiet (I suppose they are stumped as well).

Encryption unsuccessful

i have encountered the same error, but the thing about my situation is that my phone has a built-in SD card ( apart from the internal phone storage) .. so i don't know how to make this workaround work for me. and i MAY have left my phone on USB debugging disabled before it gave me this encryption error. primarily, im concerned about how to recover the files i have in the built in SD card storage, but i'll be happier to get all my files back AND get my phone working again. any help on this?
