in latest updated version of KK you cant root easily.till KK Soo5 only you can root easily...i have done successfully in S002...flash kk stock rom and also install super user in recovery mode.then use king root.100% working

Go to settings- about phone and see the built number..there u can see it..mine is S oo5..

Dear friends,
Easy to root kk of any version using "iroot" via PC....simple and perfect..just try it...i tried for my kk s009..its successful..

Note:its in chinese language..so,while installing via PC, it asks some permissions in your phone...click all the option comes in right side...

i wa installing emui3 on xolo q1010i and it stuck on xolo logo at startup now my bateery is fully discharged and even sptool is not detecting what do i do?

Tried all options.. unable to root xolo q1010i with kitkat update.
It is strange that there are very less post which are handled by senior members which involves q1010i..

Is it really like there nothing which can root xolo q1010i kitkat?

Just tried with this method..


This worked for me!
PS : Once you tap Green circle, you will get blue button down there. >> exit app, relaunch kingapp >> it will again throw blue box (with junk written) >> tap it (it will install kinguser) >> then follow steps in link!!!

there is no kingroot apk in the root pack, only ES FIle Explorer & Super User

Step 1: Install The MTK USB Drivers on Your PC by Clicking on Install.bat
If it Doesn't work See THIS

Step 2: Open SP Flash Tools folder and click on flash_tool.exe (See Attachment For Screenshots)

Step 3: In The Flash Tool window Click on Scatter-Loading, Select MT6582_Android_Scatter.txt and Press Open (See Attachment For Screenshots)

Step 4: In Flash Tool Window Check (Tick) RECOVERY and Click on the Blank Green Space Beside It and select Recovery.img (See Attachment For Screenshots)

Step 5: Press on Download Button at Top, Switch Off Your Device and Connect it to your PC (See Attachment For Screenshots)

Follow above methods for recovery and root
if you get pmt error ...or brom is changed error.

Try to generate new scatter file using mtk droid tools and use that..

P.S. -: scatter file is a text file which have configuration and block map of device...its tells about address and partitions inside device. So it is important to have correct scatter file for flashing ROM and recovery.

If you get above error just generate scatter file and use that..
