haha, it doesn't need to work, it just needs to be there. it is a flag file which tells haret to output a log file to the same directory.
hope that is clear:)

oh, right you are.
log coming up soon

ok, I am a bit out of my depth here now. So I will post my calculations up til now for the ramsize;
normal hd2-576mb of RAM, of which 448 is useable, leaves 128mb for android
your hd2-320mb of RAM, less 128mb from above, leaves 192mb=201326592bytes=&c000000, this is the hexadecimal number, base 16, which was substituted for the existing ramsize in the first startup.txt. this did not work, so I took 10mb off the 192mb, 182mb=190840832bytes=b600000, this is the number in the second (last) startup.txt I posted, as can be seen in the haretlog.
I have the feeling that the ramaddress also needs to be changed from &11800000=293601280 bytes=280mb to something. I guess it is the difference between 576 and 320, which is 128mb=134217728bytes=&8000000
if you are brave enough to try it I have attached an edited startup.txt
try it at your own risk, this is guesswork from me.
the haretlog will be overwritten by the new one, if it doesn't work, post it here.
good luck.

yeah, same result, device stuck at "jumping to kernel..."
according to the info provided by you, this particular hd2 model is pretty much useless for any rom-flashing purposes. I guess it was meant for prior testing of winmo apps back in the day. in this case, I'd hate to further waste your time on a device that is just not meant to work with all of this. I'm attaching yet another haretlog though. if it still doesn't help you, I think we can call it a day :D but thank you for all your support, you have been most helpful, and if I ever get my hands on a legit hd2, I will try again :D

Hello, my HTC HD2 doesnt remeber setting and it is always turn on like first time so I need to setup language time etc... I have

HTC HD2 EU
MAGLDR V1.13
Try it with NAND with DataOnEXT and also as NATIVESD
I tried to AD hardreset and clear data/cache/dalvik (everytime I tried it)

My SD CARD Class 10 (not UHS-I) have primary partitions: 1. FAT32 with 32kB sectors, 2. EXT4 8GB, 3. EXT4 8GB, 4. 1GB SWAP

I tried it for 10 times and everytime with different settings!

I don't see internal memory (but I think that is OK - if I have DataOnEXT)

I'm using this HOW TO
http://androidforum.tytung.com/nexushd2-kitkat-cm11-0-t230.html

Can someone help me?

sounds like your data partition isn't working. How did you format it?
best to use the SD recovery in the link you posted to reformat it to ext4.

Hello y'all ~

I see that there haven't been new posts on this thread since 2016. However, I am impressed by how supportive & willing to help the HTC HD2 experts are by setting up this Q&A thread in the first place. Sooooooo, I'm gonna give it a go! After all, I've got nothing to lose & really adore my lil phone! =]

Here goes...... I have a loyal, 11 year old HTC HD2! She has seen me through thick & thin over all these years. Suddenly, she stopped making & receiving phone calls on Sunday (May 9th, 2021). The "antenna/T" icon at the top of the screen has an exclamation mark next to it. Also, HTC Sense won't launch. When I touch "Phone," nothing happens. The phone screen does not come up. When friends (& T-Mobile) try to call me, nothing happens on my end. They get sent to my voicemail. I do not receive a voicemail notification either. However, the internet & texts can still be accessed.

I spent over three hours chatting with T-Mobile trying to fix it. They re-connected me to their network(s), "updated" my sim card from their end, etc. Nothing worked. They kept saying they needed to call me in order to do anymore troubleshooting! 0.o I, in turn, kept reminding them that not being able to accept/make calls was the problem in the first place! Ugh. So, now I'm turning to the good people of this forum for help! =]

A wee bit of background ~ I have never changed/updated my phone's software, etc! If anything has changed since I bought it, it would have been an automatic update. Still Windows os. T-Mobile Data : epc.tmobile.com. Most websites will not open on my old phone. I can use Facebook & Google. On Google, I can search, but usually can't open any of the results. In recent years, my phone has occasionally not been able to launch "HTC Sense." However, every other time, I've still been able to use the Phone function (plus, internet & texts).

You've no doubt guessed, but.... I am not a developer! Ha! Not a phone guru in any way!

I would be grateful for your help! I can't imagine having a different phone.

Thanks, y'all!

=] Kandye

Wow.
Even buying a used one now is hard let alone parts.
Consider upgrade time... really.
Maybe a used flagship phone in excellent condition running on Pie. I would avoid Android 10 and especially 11.
B&H Photos prices are higher but backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They ship that day, no bs.

Hi Kandye, you might want to install an android sd build so that you can check whether it is your phone's hardware which is playing up or whether the software has corrupted over time.
i would recommend this one https://xdaforums.com/t/30-05-13-sd-magldr-barebone-cm7-v3-sram.1868306/
The links don't work but i can upload it somewhere for you if you want to try it
The android build sits on your sd card and winmo6.5 is not affected
