Check whether module /system/lib/modules/dhd.ko exists, or what's better has /system enough space for modules.
Latest kernel is R2.22.2, check main topic in development forum.
1. yes you can. I am afraid there's nothing to describe since it only requires simple flashing.
2. AFAIK it doesn't support it. At least you can;t use it on /system. If you want, follow instruction in topic, to check whether it's possible to use it on /data and /cache.
3. I guess you're using too old kernel version.
thanks for ur reply... :good:.. everything is ok now
once more question can i use CWM REPARTED for this Stock ROM JB 4.1.2 ..
thank u bos ... u d man :highfive:
@ChronoMonochrome
I have a (may be dumb) question. Is it still necessary to flash "make-ramdisk-partition.zip" for using your kernel? I used to do so since I read the instructions from your thread time ago but it seems as this instruction is not listed anymore.
I am using 2.22.6 my wifi still doesn't work :/ /system have enough space (57 mb free)Check whether module /system/lib/modules/dhd.ko exists, or what's better has /system enough space for modules.

i got this error...
setting permission :
set-metadata-recursive: some changes failed
E: Eror in storage/sdcard1/gapps.zip (status 7)
Just install kernel over existing installation or just extract dhd.ko and manually put in /system/lib/modules.
Are you sure that you're installing correct version? As status 7 error happens to prevent incompatible version being installed.

Yes this kernel support android 5.1 .. I'm on it rite now... Very smooth ..
I'm using GAPPS from original thread polishvodka
@forum.android.com.pl
Is this problem can be related to CWM reparted .. ?
I'm using cwm reparted system 650 and 620 both have same result ..
I'm checking system partition with diskinfo
- without GAPPS system partition left around 23 M left
- with GAPPS there's no space left
If this problem related to system partition ... Would u make cwm reparted with recommended size for CM12.1 .. And provide a link for it...
Thankyou for ur time n efforts
Cheers....

Did I understand correctly, if I reboot my phone, I need to re-run liveopp_avs?

Is r3.1 version working on Omni LP 5.1.1? I can't run your kernel on this ROM since version 2.24.7 (included).
