Q&A for Lollipop (5.0) AOSP for Mi3w By Ivan

Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.

Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for Lollipop (5.0) AOSP for Mi3w By Ivan. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.

Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy! :)

The rom works fast and smooth!! thank you ivan.
the only bug is the Random auto reboot, its Frustrating,I flashed 4 hours ago..the phone auto reboot 3 times and turn off 2 times by himself, since then.
I will wait impatiently for solution.
Are you going to release a more stable version?

Hello
I am using android lollipop on my MI3W
I made a backup using cwm recovery
It was first it was in shell I moved it to save space now I am unable to restore the backup using cwm it says no files found.
I tried to move the backup files back files to shell but I lost my root access
I also tried push command using adb it starts copying but gives "protocol error"
After some time and recovery restarts.
Any help will be appreciated

Works well but...

For me there is no random reboots or FCs. But, I am having a few other problems. a) The ear-piece is not working. I have to switch the phone to speaker to listen to the incoming call. Tried re-installing but the problem remains. (No, it is not a hardware problem, works fine with other ROMs.) b) WhatsApp, Telegram etc. fails to connect to their servers (even if internet is available and browser / gmail / facebook etc. works fine).

UPDATE: Ear-piece is working, but I had to dial someone and increase the volume while on call. I wonder how it changed to '0' automatically.

Hello, sorry to bother here, can i ask if this device is tegra 4i? And if it is so maybe someone can share some knowledge about how to find the boot.img, I want to unlock the bootloader for my lg g2 mini and i am reaching out for some devs that work the tegra architecture. Thanks and sorry to bother in your forum!

Ok, in the last build it seems there is not deep sleep.
But the problem is with RILJ. I tried six times until I achieved deep sleep.
The difference between all my tries was... the moment I wrote the PIN of my SIMcard.
I can get deep sleep if I wait some minutes with the screen locked before I touch anything in my phone. Simply turn it on, wait, and when you switch the screen on, it must show the PIN screen. Then you will have deep sleep.
If you turn on the mobile and you don't wait until the PIN screen is showing, but you unlock the phone and then the SIM screen appears, you will not get deep sleep.
Can anyone confirm? It works for me.
Thanks.
