I renamed my mms apn to "default,supl,mms" which made it selectable
Then i found an app that could switch apn with one press on the widget
and when I was to send/recieve mms I pressed the widget button
I used handcent, because it was able to notify before the mms was downloaded.

That's the closest I came to an solution

Any idea which phones or provider it works on?
Ok I see.

Galaxy S4 - all providers I think(have only tested TDC)
HTC One (in a short time)

I expect all providers having android 4.2.2 phones that MMS will work.

Someone with abilities above mine should investigate which changes were made from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 since it is working fine on Bruce's CM10.

Not sure if any of you guys are messing around with the Sensation still, or whether you have come across this yet... A fix for the non sending/receiving MMS.

All credit must go to 'Noobel'. Go send him your thanks.

"So, to fix MMS open build.prop and edit these lines:

Code:
[COLOR="Green"]ro.telephony.ril.v3=datacallapn,signalstrength[/COLOR]
#
# T-Mobile data drop fix, uncomment if you have this issue
# and delete above line
#
[COLOR="Red"]#[/COLOR]ro.telephony.ril.v3=datacallapn,signalstrength,skipbrokendatacall
to this:

Code:
[COLOR="Red"]#[/COLOR]ro.telephony.ril.v3=datacallapn,signalstrength
#
# T-Mobile data drop fix, uncomment if you have this issue
# and delete above line
#
[COLOR="Green"]ro.telephony.ril.v3=datacallapn,signalstrength,skipbrokendatacall[/COLOR]
EDIT: To edit build.prop use built-in CM File Manager. Just grant it Superuser permissions in settings. Open file, edit it, save, restart your phone... "

I've used this fix personally and can honestly say it works, and so can others in the development thread.

The MMS issue was a huge deal breaker for me on Albinoman's 4.2.2 ROM. This is now not a problem!
