Anyone getting wifi issues? My wifi drops after about 30 seconds of the screen being locked and I have already checked all the settings. Wifi keep on, don't switch to mobile, keep on in doze settings. Anyone else having this issue?
Yes, yes, and yes.Hi guys. I'd like to buy the H990 Ds version of this phone. Since there's no root at the moment, I'd like to know:
1) It has Nougat inside. Is It possible to block call and Sms? Also private numbers or without Id? Are there numbers that cannot be blocked? Is It possible to backup the registry of blocked numbers?
2)Is it possible to disable the secondary display?
3)This is a fashion question: Does the V20 fit on Cargo pants pocket?
Thanks.
Thanks, thanks and thanksYes, yes, and yes.
YesUpdate: I managed to boot everything up! I still think something is off though. I confirmed root through a few programs and it lets me fiddle around with everything but it still boots as device untrusted and buzzes as it boots up. Is this normal?
I would like to report that PlayMemories 5.8.0 works on my V20 running 7.0I know this may be for a niche set of people.
I have a Sony camera that does wifi transfers to android devices via a app called Playmemories Mobile.
It doesnt support my samsung tab S2, but it is able to do so for my Xperia Z5 on nougat.
Before I take the plunge on the V20, im just hoping that someone is able to confirm whether this works, or doesn't.
Thank you!!!!
I have the Tmobile version so can't be 100% about your ATT V20. But if you get into developer options, (in settings, about phone, software info, tap build number like 7-8 times, then it becomes available), there's a Automatic system update option. I toggled that off. I would recommend you do the same.I've noticed that even if I ignore the message asking me to update, the phone goes ahead and updates itself anyway. The "Last update" was 4/15/17 and before that was sometime in January. Is there a way to turn off auto updates?
From what I've been reading here, it seems that there may have been some security patches that make it so Dirty Santa won't work. Is that correct? Does this mean that, even if I correctly follow all the steps, I won't be able to root my AT&T LG V20 910 using Dirty Santa?
Am I buggered, or is there still hope?
Yes so far thats what I've come across. If the custom ROM is not stock based, you lose the great camera. Same when I had my LG G4.I have an LG G3 right now and I'm considering upgrading to a V20.
A big problem I have with my G3 is the camera quality in custom ROMs. If it's not a stock-based ROM, you take a massive hit in camera quality.
My question is: does the V20 have the same issue? Did LG lock down the camera in the V20 as well? I want to be able to use custom ROMs without losing high quality photos.
