This should not be possible cause greyed out.Would there be a problem if I go to Settings - Security & Lockscreen - Encryption & Credentials - Encrypt phone
This should also encrypt without having to wipe/format data?

Seems you're coming from Oreo rom and flashed pie recovery but that can only work when already on Pie firmware. What am I doing wrong? Flash blu spark 9.91.img - flash OOS 9.0.3 - flash no verify - flash Magisk 18.1 - reboot system. It does not re-enter the black screen and after a few moments the blue notification light shines brightly. It helps holding the power button for 10 seconds (after 7 seconds the LED goes off) - the system turns on, but Magisk does not
Check out this post and the following discussion https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...xygenos-4-5-2-7-1-1-ota-t3627003/post78680335 and make sure you're using no mods.Hi, I have a OnePlus 5 8gb ram and 2 weeks ago I updated to 9.0.3 Oxygen OS version.
since then I'm having problems with phone calls. many times the other side can't hear me or my voice is broken but I can hear them well.
I talked with my cell network operator and he couldn't solve the problem.
is anyone else facing this problem? any solutions?
BTW from reading some threads here i understand that the OnePlus 5 supports VOLte calls or WIFI calling. is that true? my network operator told me that it doesn't.
Many thanks
Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I checked the discussion but I don't think it the same problem, the other side can't hear me at all. anyway, I don't use any mods currently.Check out this post and the following discussion https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...xygenos-4-5-2-7-1-1-ota-t3627003/post78680335 and make sure you're using no mods.
Your Operator won't tell you the truth. Op5 does support wifi calling and VOLTE, but your operator does not allow it with your device. But check this out https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/volte-vowifi-german-user-t3816516
Magisk itself should not break calls, but did you use any magisk modules?Hello, i'm having a problem with Magisk breaking my ability to receive phone calls. I began having this problem when switching from Liquid Remix to Omnirom, and then back to Liquid remix. I can dial and call people just fine, but can't receive calls. They will hear a set amount of rings, and then go to voicemail.
I've even tried flashing back to stock OOS and then factory resetting the phone before flashing Liquid again. I can receive calls perfectly fine until magisk is installed.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Nope, no modules installed. Once magisk is flashed, the ability to receive calls goes away until I re-flash a ROM again. I just found out this morning that this problem doesn't occur when I'm running OOS though, only when I'm on a custom ROM now. Still pretty puzzled as to why it's Magisk that's causing this though.Magisk itself should not break calls, but did you use any magisk modules?
Rooting in general won't interfere with that functionality![]()
OIS is a Hardware feature. You won't be able to get that on OP5 no matter what ROM.Hi.
Is any custom ROM (not OOS) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support?
adb shell twrp decrypt 'my password'
Hi.

The downloaded system updates are located at /storage/emulated/0/.OtaDoes anyone know where the update for from the OnePlus update app gets stored at and if you can flash it manually on TWRP?
That's where I thought it'd be but I don't have an OTA file on that path...The downloaded system updates are located at /storage/emulated/0/.Ota
You can always flash them manually, depending which update you have and other circumstances.
