[Q] A really general setcpu Question(I/O Scheduler)

Hi everyone, I've been into this forum for a while and lately I had this doubt about the I/O Scheduler in the setcpu, I wanted to know what is this and what does it does, and an explanaition about the categories it has like noop, cfq, etc. If you could put as simple as you I think it would be the best for me and other that might have the same question as I am.
Sorry if I have some strange redaction, English is not my native language but I try really hard to understand it.
