yes i used flashfire to install this rom on stock rooted oc4. very easy just download the rom.zip and then use flashfire to flash. you want to wipe everything except sd card data. they should go in this order, 1 backup, 2 wipe data (all except sd car), 3 flash zip, 4 everoot (disabled), then hit the lightning and wait between 10 and 20 minutes.

Flashing Verizon S5 to Work on T-Mobile Network
Hi everyone, I a bought a Verizon S5 - G900V (build number LRX21T.G900VVRU1BOC4) from Craigslist because I bricked my S4 trying to install Lollipop on it. The phone is great, but I have T-Mobile service and as a result I am getting crazy dropped calls and intermittent data coverage - to boot I have problems accessing my voicemail properly and most importantly I can't use the services that I've grown so accustomed to: Wifi-Calling and Hotspot.
Before I proceed to root this phone and flash another ROM - can someone tell me if its even possible to:
1. Flash custom ROM on a G900V?
2. Is there a ROM that will enable Wifi-Calling/Hotspot (if so which)?
3. Am I able to install the stock G900T ROM to access all of T-Mobile services?
4. What's the best thing to do?

Flash to this rom from Plasma rom
Im new to the S5 and have sucessfully flashed the Plasma rom but would like to try the Optimal Rom. Do I have to flash back to NCG kit kat and start from there or can I use FlashFire and do a wipe and then flash Optimal?

Stuck on Samsung Galaxy S5 loading screen
EDIT: WE HAVE LIFTOFF. So, this time around, I flashed the correct OC4 File the first time, and I didn't create a partition. RESOLVED!

I was on 4.42 NCG. Rooted, SuperSU Busyboxed, Safestrapped.
Backed up everything manually and through safestrap.
Wiped through safestrap.
Made a new partition, ~5GB in total size.
Installed on the new partition. Installer said it went fine.
Went to reboot->Download.
Used ODIN to flash OC4 Kernel. For 3-4 mins it sat on the boot screen after it (automatically) exited download mode. ODIN said "Reset" during this time. Then it said "Pass". And the phone's been sitting there on the loading screen since. I tried turning off/back on. Same result. Can't even get to safestrap right now.
Do you flash the OC4 Kernel on "AP" option in files? If not, that may been where I messed it up.
Don't really know where to go from here. I'll try to reflash that Kernel I guess.
EDIT: I think I used the wrong file. I had a OC4 file that was just the kernel, looks like the one on the page is 155mb instead of 10mb. I'll flash that, should fix my issue. Okay. Well, it didn't. Now the phone won't even turn off. Got it to maintenance mode, tried rebooting. I'm getting the little chime, but nothing after that.
EDIT2: Flashed the NK2 Kernel to get it into safestrap. Now I'll try this over again from the start.

Has anyone come across issues with Pandora not working properly? The link between my phone and Honda Cr-V also doesn't show what songs are playing. The info for phone calls is working properly, so I am figuring this is an issue with just Pandora. Any help will be greatly appreciate it.

Battery Life Issues
First and foremost, I want to say thank you so much for this Rom. I really love it like everyone else. So smooth and so fast.
My issue is with battery life. I followed instructions to the letter, but did not flash extra toggles. I flashed this Rom about 3 days ago and my battery life is horrible. I even used Battery Calibration recommended from XDA, to no avail. If anyone has come accross this or knows how to fix, please let me know.

i could not get Optimal to boot past samsung splash screen after 2 attempts from NCG base..........other roms have flashed fine including Plasma 2.0 .....any suggestions because this is the main rom i want to put on wife's phone? thanks in advance
I had no problem flashing it. Did you follow the OP instructions to the letter? I opened Safestrap, made a backup of my nandroid, then followed the instructions abs it worked first time

Just wanted confirmation that I'm doing this right (help an old guy out).
I'm coming from Ricks Rom which is a Lollipop BOA8.
So:
1. In odin flash nk2 kernel so that safestrap (ss) works.
2.In ss backup, wipe, Flash Optimal 13.1
3.Back into Odin and flash OC4 tar.
4. Back to ss to flash extra toggle zip.
5. Back to Odin to flash OC4 kernel. Reboot.
