Due to Travisholt92's answer in the CM 12.1 thread, I tried to install this rom instead. I did a complete wipe of all data, install Spirit Kernel, SaberMod and Minimal GApps, clean dalvik/cache and rebooted. It works, but I have the same problem that was already posted by someone else on page 48 in the rom thread: It feels really slow and unresponsive. The animations are smooth (it's not lagging), but slower than normal. I tried Rayman Fiesta Run and even playing that, everything is about 1/3 or something slower. I did the flashing about 2 hours ago and it didn't improve since then. I will sleep a night over it, maybe it will fix itself, but I doubt it. Any idea what this is about?

Thanks in advance!

Hello beeeto.
I'm just writing to thank you, I've been using this ROM build 9 & 10 and it is working great. As a matter of fact it's the first ROM I've ever used with my Moto g.
Keep up the awesome work.

hmm - listening to music yesterday the music suddenly stopped. Took the phone out of my pocket and it was dead - no holding down the power key, or Power+Vol Up or Down would bring it back to life or allow me into the recovery - tried holding power and then power+vol-up for 3 mins. Plugged it in for a while and tried again but no joy.

Eventually I had to disassemble the phone and disconnect the battery - with the battery disconnected I plugged it in and it came back to life.

Picked up the phone this morning (having left it powered on overnight) and it was dead again. This time I was able to power it on ok, it still had 40% battery so I don't know why it turned itself off, but I'm going to have to change to another ROM as this one appears to be killing the phone :(

I had the earpiece issue on my xt1040 using different lollipop builds. Several times.

Experienced a few mem leaks but they ok, this is by far the best rom available! I was using spirit kernel on another rom but I want to try beeeto's kernel and also check the dt2w.

I use gravity screen (and by the way, battery life is still awesome) and I think using dt2w may conflict with it... Am I right?

Beeeto, is it possible to, somehow, add omni switch to this build? I really enjoy it!
Congrats for the work on this rom! It's amazing.

Same Problem

I flashed Build 10, and I am getting unpredictable random reboots, datas of the last hours get lost too. I am using your kernel with no tuning apps, but I get these annoying reboots at least once a day.
I have the same problem as you I believe. Just had the issue this morning -thankfully I had barely used it.
I've had this issue since build 9 i think. From memory I had flashed 7.1 (clean) -> 8.1 (dirty) -> 9 (dirty). It first happened while I was texting (Hangouts) walk walking in a light rain. The phone appeared to of turned itself off/rebooted. I was worried it was caused by water damage and stopped using the phone for a while. It was fairly light and had used my previous phone through worse.
After I turned it on I saw I had past notification appear and I had lost messages in the conversation that i was in. ALL SMS messages in the past 3 hours disappeared -1 hangouts (online) picture during that time was still there. The picture that was still there was taken during that 3 hours and had also disappeared from my gallery -couldn't be located using ES File Manager or a computer.
The similar thing happened once or twice more in the following days -same thing, about 3 hours worth of data had been forgotten/reverted. It never did it twice a day once it started.

I am currently on a clean flash of build 11 since the 9th and it has happened (as far as i can tell) for the first time this morning -13th. No kernel modifications, no extra flashing, root disabled.

The weird thing is how perfect it seems to do it. It seems to be roughly 3 hours of data loss where the phone turns back on as if it has traveled back in time.
SMS's, pictures, all notifications such as calendar reminders, missed calls, new messages and alarms -You have missed your 6:30 alarm even though I saw it and dismissed it at the time.
Can't tell yet if it is only the internal storage that is affected, all data that I have noticed has been on internal.
Don't have any logcats or anything as I have never really used them. -will experiment with them now.

live display problem

Has anyone found that the animation speed is much slower when the live display is set to night mode ( lower color temperature ) ?

I am on build 12.

Sorry this is my first time ever looking at this thread. If it feels sluggish to you try changing cpu governors and other kernel tweaks. Also the kernel built into sabermod will run better than spirit kernel will. The Sabermod kernel is highly optimized, and spirit kernel does not perform well on sabermod roms

He said, that the spirit kernel doesn't work with this rom, or in some cases gets buggy...
Btw I found a bug in auto brightness, you can disable your display (complete darkness) using auto brightness, but this is a cm12.1 bug I guess..

Fiops schedular disabled? Yes/no?? No answer from beeeto in his Q&A thread?

EDIT: Oh, his post disappeared
