Hello, first I would like to say big thanks for the time and effort you are putting in this ROM. I have been using it since build 10 or so and it's been working VERY good for me.

However, currently I'm experiencing a problem. I've searched around in this thread (and many other threads) and can't seem to find anything usefull about it.
If I turn on my wifi and let my phone sit with the screen off, it's draining battery much quicker. According to BBS the wifi on time is equal to wifi running. I think this is since the Google play services f/c started (fixed in the meantime). 99% sure it isn't any apps fault (barely have any installed) and nothing showing up in BBS.

Now all I would like to know if this could be caused by this ROM so I can rule that out if it isn't the case.
Hope I'm not asking anything obvious or answered before.

Hey buddy,

Thank you for reporting this issue, I am noticing a faster battery drain. Could you please check if official CM12 has the same battery drain? I am suspecting it is a global issue, I haven't made any big changes compared Build 10.

Can I dirty flash CM12 over your ROM then?
BTW, I have upgraded your ROM a few times since I started using this ROM so I'm not coming from build 10 straight to 16 :). I guess it started around build 14/15.

Bluetooth Issue

Hi.
I flashed the rom on my peregrine xt1040, and work just fine. Congratulations for the rom, very stable and fast.
I just have one issue, when I connect my phone thru Bluetooth on my car, and I try to streaming some music, the audio begin to crackling. It just happen when I play music, on a phone call everything work normal.
I'm using the rom since version 10, and until now, I have the same issue.
With the stock rom that didn’t happen, any one knows why that is happening?

I'm having an issue with this ROM.

The devices appears to randomly restart (perhaps once a day) and after this, it's almost as if the device has gone a few hours back in time. Example: WhatsApp messages from a specific time are missing, recent screenshots missing from Gallery, read notifications on facebook/snapchat/whatsapp/ect are unread again....

It is very strange. Is anyone else having this issue? Can you help me?

This is normal with a crash. I've had the same issue in the past. It seems to be some sort of app incompatibility. (The crashing)

It depends in how often your crashes occur and if it happens when you do certain things. If it crashes every few minutes, backup and uninstall apps until the crashing stops. That's all you can really do

should sabermod's batter life be longer than on cyanogenmod? i came from latest cm12.1 to latest sabermod and i noticed very fast battery drains. is it normal?

Yesterday I'm using the build_16, Beto's_Kernel_V2, Minimal gapps, starting from reflash stock kk 4.4.4. The phone is perfect except that I have a high energy consumption and excessive heat, (Max 9,12h total operating, then is dead, off).
I did not reboot, use a lot bluethooth, data and wifi on also sceen on (Use app Ipulse_Pro)I ambient display off, performance/row, max frequency 998Mhz... Bha !!! Because it gets hot ???

Today I reflash to stock kk 4.4.4, same use and setting of yesterday it, the battery drain is absent (70% brightness, 2,33h display, 2,30h voice calls, etc etc, total 16h and still 18% charge), it disappears altogether !!!

Bha!!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Beeeto builds garbage ROMs. Try AICP or Paranoid Android.

I'm using the latest build and kernel in a XT1040. Clean installed. Although i'm not having great issues with battery, or RAM use, I'm having two other rare issues:

1. After some use, the speaker stop working. No app works. I have to connect headphones to listen any sound from the device. I mean, speaker doesn't even works in calls. Nothing.
2. When i reboot the phone, i lost some "customizations" in the home screen. I have no launcher other than the stock. For example, i move an icon to other place into the home screen, reboot, and the icon returns to the original place. It's very weird.

Hope someone could help. Thanks!!
