I am also having hotspot bug...
Also i can't use internet using 2nd sim....
Only sim one is working and if I switch data mod to sim 2....network setting is reseted...
Other than this I received ota for aicp sprout_4_lp but after applying nothing changed. Build no. and version is still v9.
Tell me if ota is supported or not.



[Edit] : resurrection remix and pacman both have same sim problem. I m currently running resurrection remix. I like it better.

Bugs in Aicp rom of xolo q1010i

Hi,
I'm using this rom since 3 days , and i have noticed some serious bugs that should be fixed .
1 - Many times the sound of the device disappears , of both speakers . So i can't talk to anyone. And it also affects the music player , which shows that the song is playing , but there is no output from the speakers.

2- Many times the device is gets rebooted. ( HANGING PROBLEM )

Please fix these issues as soon as possible . Apart from these problems this rom is working perfectly .

Bugs in Aicp rom of xolo q1010i

Hi,
I'm using this rom since 3 days , and i have noticed some serious bugs that should be fixed .

In aicp device is rebooting continuously...

Also msg is popping up showing various apps stopped suddenly..
Apps are dialer, keyboard, settings..

Please fix this..

Also I want to help in solving these problems... But don't know where to start...
I know Linux, File architecture and comfortable with shell scripting and python...
If developers think I can help pls. tell me...a little direction is what I required....

Hi again....

I checked more about Wi-Fi hotspot and 2nd sim data problem...

It is not for this ROM but also for all ROM's based on CM OS12...

All devices with kitkat kernel...which are upgraded from kitkat to custom ROM have this problem..

So pls. don't ask for fix for these issues.

Wait for official CM 12.1 release.

About AICP:

If u get nightly ota update don't update the OS..it will break ur ui or at least will make device unstable and unusable... Deleting caches will not solve it..

Reason for this is its not official and update is for android one devices codename sprout4.

ROM's made for our xolo device is based on sprout4 build.

M experimenting with latest nightly build of AICP and trying to merge AICP ROM with nightly..

Will post result later...

About FM RADIO in :
I checked FIRMWARE folder and for FM RADIO device is listed as mt6627..and it is empty file..

I think this might be cause of FM RADIO not working.

[Edit]: I checked stock kk ROM and it also listed as mt6627..so I think developer have just copy-paste it from stock to RR.

M currently using resurrection remix...
Its more stable ..
I downloaded RR v5.5.2 and will try to make update for our current build..

Let's see what happens.

Hi again,
In this ROM which is based on lollipop 5.1.1 , video recording is not working , it shows camera error every time . You have suggested the video cam illusion app for video recording , and I must say that it is the worst app I have ever used for camera purpose . And also I have tried almost every camera app available in the play store , and not a single one is working exept that garbage (illusion) . So I just want to know is there any other app which can be used for video recording , or any method for solving this isuue?

I have to say this is very nice ported rom although with little bugs

There's a problem i am recently facing... The carrier signal is lost when i plugged in headphones.
To enable calling I have to reboot the device.

Hope this problem could be fixed. (finger crossed)

About AICP and pacman hadnt tested that much...
Y not give RR a try if u r not already using it...

You might also try wiping cache and dalvik cache....or reinstall the os.

M also hoping for the things to get fixed[emoji5] ..

We can't rely solely on developer for fixes...we have to help in solving the problems..

hoping to learn that in two weeks [emoji3] [emoji16]

If u know little programming give it a try...its not that hard to get terms related to porting ...[emoji6] [emoji3]

i have tried rr the same problem with aicp is in that rom like hotspot prob..but didn't fully test it so don't know about headphone...
also RR is not 5.1.1 its 5.0.x based..
coz some features of 5.1.x i couldn't see...

Hi frnds...

I used resurrection remix 5.5.4 build and modified updater script from above rr build..and ported the ROM..

But bugs are not solved yet...

I think it is more of kernel compatibility problem...

M done with experimenting with cm 12 for now,

Will wait for someone to solve these bugs or atleast until mtk release kernel code for our device..

Till then I will continue to enjoy miui v6...its running smoothly..no bugs and better performance, based on KitKat..

But....I'm facing some problems or bugs.

You can't update directly...
Q1010i don't have an official port, you have to port or to use ported ROM from other device like android one..
All roms have some bugs right now..
Wait for someone to fix or try other ROM.

All ROM have common bugs...
Like hotspot, 3g, FM, no data for 2nd sim and some more...
But RR is more stable than AICP and PACMAN..
Try RR if u wanted..[emoji4]

After installing aicp rom...

I installed AICP rom 3 days ago in my xolo q1010i.
Then after next day my phone is bricked then i installed RR rom but the main problem is my sim card detected but no network or service.I try all roms even official stock rom but problem is not solved.
Xolo q1010i is dual sim phone and i have two sim ...Both are detected but no network.
I try q1010i stock rom 4.2.2 and 4.4.2 but still have a problem....How can i solve this problem.

Don't panic we will help u to solve ur problem..
First of all try to check your imei no.
Use
*#06# to find imei
Take screenshot and compare it with imei no. Given on the backside of mobile..

Also explain how you used sp flash tools to flash ROM.
