After the update i still dont have any connectionto my carrier... still no baseband... i totally want this rom on my phone... is there some way to fix it? oh and somehow the system UI crashes all the time...

cm-12.1 build
Hi, the AndroGeek974 cm-12.1 build was on my Phone for a while, the first time I flashed it there was a big trouble with the RADIO it only worked with M4_UL_Firmware_3.10.111.4 but not with M4_UL_Firmware_3.10.401.4 and others for 401 maybe this is build related? cm-11 was working with 401 and 111. After restoring a TWRP cm-11 backup and then restoring cm-12.1 this seems to be no issue any longer. Did not expect that it will connect with the RADIO that was flashed with cm-11 tests but then also cm-12.1 connected pretty well.
A general question regarding building? I read some stuff (actually I build my first Rom tonight), it seems to be enough to sync cm-12.1 and get the m4 build info from cm-12, blobs from TheMuppets and build it. If that's all I could supply an updated cm-12.1 maybe once a week. I currently run it on my phone, but a newbie when it comes to building roms.

did you run it for the last two days? what are your impressions? an updated rom would be perfect. development is pretty dead otherwise..
Yes I have it running, a second build is already on. First one had audio playback problems and some other minor issues. Impression, pretty good for my first build, but not sure if I do it right or make a big mistake. Sent an PM to AndroGeek974 and wait for a reply if he would/could build a ROM or stop support, last post was stay tuned. I explained to him that I would like to see a build every week (more or less), but not demanding one (hope he got that right). if it is just building a ROM I could also do a weekly build. Had some issues with Runtastic and Playing Music and other stuff on the last build and was thinking to go back to KK but instead tried to build a new LL ROM and well ...
If it goes to Flight mode it says no SIM which is a bit strange.
The ROMs are uploaded to Androidfilehost, same username over there or search for m4, I dirty flashed it over AndroGeek974 last build.
As far as my understanding goes this was built the same way he did, just the sources are newer

use on your own risk.I think the no sim in flight mode is in androgeeks version as well, Today a friend of mine had problems with internet connectivity with his moto e 2015 on lollypop and switching flight mode on and off seemed to get rid of the problem as well. maybe that's still a general problem in lollypop. I'd really love to see a cm version of android m when it comes out.
First , thanks you for this rom Wingman2k . Is running very good and fast . The biggest problem (in my case) is the random reboots and no calls for WhattsApp Messenger . If this problem can be done we will have a great rom . Thank you , again

OK for Whatsapp it might be this one, is that the issue? so adding it in general to build prop might be a solution. fix-whatsapp-callsand-voip-services
Random Reboots, seems to be running out of memory. Maybe mark the Device as Low Ram (512MB) and see if it change or break something.

In build. prop i can not find the two lines use.dedicated.device.for.voip=true and use.voice.path.for.pcm.voip=true to change it . The random reboots it seems to be gone ( 18 h not a single reboot). The rom is solid for daily use ( In my case ) calls, web , sms. Thanks for lollipop 5.1.1.

Run a Testbuild with the suggested changes at the moment, was very disappointed after the first 5 Minutes the first reboot happen. What is curious, my BT Speaker was connecting to the phone and something gets messed up, laggy, bugy ... it seems there is something BT or audio related.
When the Rom starts for the first time, everytime a reboot happen sooner or later since that it runs stable for a longer time.
The Low Ram flag changes something, not sure if its better, the phone responds quicker but less eye candy, there is more free ram and some app's I expected to see are not running at the background (T-Online Hotspot Manager).
After the boot the Drawer Menu takes some time to load and settings manager stopped once. Still undecided if that should set or not.
For whatsapp, no luck for me, but cant even ring somebody, directly hung up, when I got called there was only silence. it says add the lines even they are not there. good luck (Edit: lines added but set to true instead of false).

cm-12.1-20150615-UNOFFICIAL-m4.zip is up now, the changes in build.prop are in. The last three lines are added, it seems there is more free space in active Memory under apps under cached is ~100MB (depends on your apps of course). the phone works well and I could not find any bigger issues so far. VOIP test call worked too. Have fun with it.

are the only changes in the build.prop? if so,could you copy them here plz.

I can't confirm now, but I remember we never had more than 800 mb of ram before.

I don't understand why, but I sometimes have " emergency calls only" in a left top corner in app drawer. But I can call and get incoming calls and SMS . Internet is working fine also. Do you have the same?

No did not see this on mine, but know it from places with bad signal. Did you changed your Radio? if you are S-Off you could try to update it, but be careful and read a bit before doing it.
Mine is on M4_UL_Firmware_4.09.401.3.zip (Latest Radio I could find) and M4_UL_Firmware_4.14.401.1 (Latest hboot, does not contain Radio), this improved my Singal a bit.
AndroGeek responded, I can use his thread, till he will continue his support and stop messing up the Q&A Section.
Google App is very very hungry app. It uses around 150mb!!!! So, deleted, and now much smoother
