Be warned! this app locks the ability to change the APN. and there is no way to manually set an APN so your data connection is screwed on this rom!!!
Bull Crap ... I am on the VZW network and this ROM runs great. There is no need to change the APN it runs great out of the box. Now, on the other hand, if you are on a different carrier and that is why you need to change the APN, then that is your fault for trying to run a ROM designed for Verizon instead of one out of your carrier's forum ...Be warned! this app locks the ability to change the APN. and there is no way to manually set an APN so your data connection is screwed on this rom!!!
how do i delete the post, well after i installed maor rom there was no option to add an apn at all but i did get it to work by editing the build, prop file, so no worries!Bull Crap ... I had the same problem as the person you replied to, can you direct me to the Straight Talk CMDA, aka Verizon Network phone forum?Bull Crap ... I am on the VZW network and this ROM runs great. My point exactly. The people experiencing problems are those with non-Verizon phones. I would suggest you hit up masterx1234 via pm he might be able to help you doing it in build.prop if you haven't found a solution.I had the same problem as the person you replied to, can you direct me to the Straight Talk CMDA, aka Verizon Network phone forum?
The problem was fixed for me by using Straight Talk live chat, not changing APN.My point exactly. The people experiencing problems are those with non-Verizon phones. I would suggest you hit up masterx1234 via pm he might be able to help you doing it in build.prop if you haven't found a solution.
i had the same problem before youll have to reinstall the rom i recommend just redownloading it and reinstalling it because it could have been a bad download but as for safestrap you can still use it all you have to do is flash a ni or nk2 kernel or something for ncg it doesnt particuarly matter which one u use but theres an app for it if you dont feel like going into odin and doing it that way http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...ccess-odin-t3126686/post61168058#post61168058 you can download it there or like i said u can just use odin if you prefer but soon as you flash a kernel you should be able to choose to get into safestrap also make sure if youre coming from 4.4.4 or previous versions that you also flash the OA8 or OA6 firmware after you flashed the rom then you can go back and change it afterwards if you wish i dont think you need to flash the bootloader because i didnt and im still downgrading lol it might have it built into the rom im not sure maybe thats what messed you upTrying to install this. Coming from MatrixROM. Done with it. I flashed 4.4.4 or whatever the one is that you root on, rooted, verified root, installed Flashfire, selected the proper MOAR ROM and flashed it. Booted into Download mode (like it told me to, I set Flashfire to boot into it) and flashed the OD5 bootloader TAR. It showed me the fancy tornado splash screen for like 10 minutes and optimized apps for another 10-ish minutes. Then it showed me a "finishing boot" popup which was there for like, maybe 5 minutes. Some **** popped up, and when I was finally able to control the phone, it began to give me a "System UI has stopped" message, which interrupted whatever I was doing. I was able to turn off the phone and reboot it. Same thing. I have no idea how to fix it...
The developer's instructions were next-to-nonexistant so I had to dig through the thread to figure out how the hell to do it. I don't understand why he just didn't list some installation instructions.
My phone is a G900V.
Can someone help me please? I can't use the phone for more than 2 seconds without the system UI popping up and me having to close it down. I'm going to try and flash a different kernel (if I can find one, they're so hard to find here) in the meantime and hope for a reply.
Also, Safestrap was not used. So I don't have Busybox or Safestrap.

Well, I rebooted again and wiped the cache, and restored to factory settings. Booted for like 10 more minutes and I'm able to do things.
Now I've got all of these apps that I don't recognize, such as AudioFX, Gear Fit Manager, CSC Features, Manager, Popup Browser, Smart Manager, UPSM Manager, etc. Another weird thing is that when I was able to get to my home screen, my background was an old background of mine. I assume it's from one of my Google backups or something.
I don't even know where to start with this thing. I know that my battery is dying rapidly and apparently there's some updates, but I don't know how they work, how to install them, etc. Apparently I need Safestrap? But I hear it doesn't work on Lollipop and I'm technically running lollipop so I don't know how to get Safestrap. This is all so confusing to me... None of my other ROM installations were this difficult. Can someone please help me through getting these updates that I supposedly need?
I was able to get it working normally somehow. I've been running it since then and it's... Interesting. I'm really intrigued with Layers, but I think it's partially broken with this ROM. I'm gonna do some reading today and figure out how to fix the override that this ROM is doing, so that layers can freely modify stuff.i had the same problem before youll have to reinstall the rom i recommend just redownloading it and reinstalling it because it could have been a bad download but as for safestrap you can still use it all you have to do is flash a ni or nk2 kernel or something for ncg it doesnt particuarly matter which one u use but theres an app for it if you dont feel like going into odin and doing it that way http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...ccess-odin-t3126686/post61168058#post61168058 you can download it there or like i said u can just use odin if you prefer but soon as you flash a kernel you should be able to choose to get into safestrap also make sure if youre coming from 4.4.4 or previous versions that you also flash the OA8 or OA6 firmware after you flashed the rom then you can go back and change it afterwards if you wish i dont think you need to flash the bootloader because i didnt and im still downgrading lol it might have it built into the rom im not sure maybe thats what messed you up
Hmmm I'm not sure check in the settings but if not just try deleting it but how come you don't like it? You can customize and change it lolIs there any way to disable 3minit? Not a fan at all.
All the stock looking battery options in 3minit are too flashy. Also the mod is integrated into the SystemUI.apk.Hmmm I'm not sure check in the settings but if not just try deleting it but how come you don't like it? You can customize and change it lol
I have an unlocked phone, and am on a different carrier like him, im not paying for no data. I have unlimited high speed 45 from straightalk.Bull Crap ...
