App compatibility cm 10.1 - 20140217 - nightly - wingray

Successfully installed all is well with cm on my unit XOOM MZ604....

but when i try to intall certain apps through play store it states there are not compatible..... but requirements is 3.0 or higher and cm10.1 is equivalent to 4.2.2??

2 app specific that i have issue with so far is TD (canada) banking (4.03 or higher required) and cartsmart (3.0 or higher required).

any ideas?

will edit if i come acroos any more apps.

i am now wondering... i started by flashing to the usa stock files so i can update android beyond 4.0.3 to 4.1.2 but with previous uses of cm had been spoiled with the level of customization so flash 10.2 from the american firmware... could that be causing google play to think i am american and not letting me d/l canadian apps?

so if anyone aver comes accross this issue this is how i solved it.

restore tablet to stock in adb with the canadian firmware....
reboot
copied cm and gapps files to the downloads folder(as the original stock firmware that wont update past 3.something doesnt have the sdcard slot turned on and cwm cant mount it)
turn on usb debugging
reboot to fastboot and flashed cwm6.0.2.7
rebooted into recovery ans installed cm10.2 wingray as normal from there.

now all the apps that would work to to region issues are solved!!!!!! yay.

Here Maps not working on either available ROM

Hi guys, this is my first post.

I had a Xoom MZ601 EVEREST with stock 4.0.4 and wanted to update it in order to be able to use Nokia Here Maps (android 4.1+ required). I have tried the EOS stable 3.0, Cyanogenmod 10 stable and 10.1 nightly, using always the proper Gapps pack and following the instructions.

I got everything working well but I cannot even open the here maps app, as soon as I open it it closes immediately, this happens with 4.1.1 and 4.1.2. Best I could achieve is a black screen on CM 10.1 4.2.2.

Any thoughts on where could be the problem?

FYI I tried the last version and two old betas, same results.
