I've seen people suggest forcing output resolution to 720p to help with stuttering, but I haven't had luck with that myself. ESPN stutters for me, but everything else is fine.

When I use the method suggested for forcing 720p, my monitor and system info programs still tell me I'm outputting 1080.

Also, I haven't been able to get an answer on what the setprop for 720p really does. If it decreases the size of the framebuffer, the cpu/gpu could be doing less work which might help stutter. If it just causes scaling the 1080 framebuffer to 720p on output, it wouldn't help at all.

Sorry, not an answer for your problem, I know.

If you already have an older CWM installed, updating is easy:

Download the latest CWM from the link in the KK thread (6.0.4.8)
Download the latest boot menu from the main KK thread (2.0.4)
Download the latest CM11 rom
Download gapps
Put all files on your sdcard
Boot into the old CWM and flash the new CWM. Reboot into recovery
You should now be in CWM 6.0.4.8
Flash the boot menu. Reboot into recovery
Do a factory reset
Flash CM11
Flash gapps
Reboot.

The first boot will take quite a while, so let it run while CM11 gets started.

On-Screen Keyboard

Has anyone got an on-screen keyboard (A-la the stock keyboard) working on C11?
It's impossible to type with the cursor....

After pairing the ouya controller the touch-pad works fine. After the first reboot the touch-pad is dead but the rest buttons of the controller work fine. Is there a solution for this?

Ouya Nightlies

Has anyone been able to have the ouya automatically go to sleep and stay asleep on CM11? I enabled allow device to sleep in the dev options, but the ouya 'blinks' every few seconds or so keeping my tv awake. Maybe I'll start trying older nightlies, I could have sworn it was working before.

Silver Ouya ..

Thanks

:edit: I'll be running through the nightlies and posting results unless I hear from a better source about the status re: sleep mode

further testing ..

no dice:

cm-11-20150323-UNOFFICIAL-ouya.zip
cm-11-20150409-UNOFFICIAL-ouya.zip

[ROM] AOSP 5.0 for OUYA (worked once, then not again. I was not able to repeat even from fresh)

success: ??

--------------
$20 bounty to someone who can get my ouya to 'sleep' ..
And or, WTS 1 very gently used ouya .. hahaha

Site is up for me

milaq.net/downloads/ouya/misc/

If you still have trouble reaching it, i'll dump it online somewhere for you
Thanks for the information. I also tied a few different IPs from my place and my friends to download the files and realized that the IPs from my country may be blocked. Anyway, tried proxy in US to download, and it works. Thanks again.

hello dudes,

i was very happy to read there is still some developement for the OUYA.
Since i had some problems with official OS + SPMC I tried this ROM here. Installation went fine and i really like Cyanogent on my Ouya.
There is one problem: Audio Passthrough ist not Working :/ You only hear static noises. This bug was in official OS also, but got fixed a time ago.

Is there any chance it can be fixed in this ROM also?

Thanks for all your hard work, milaq!

//edit
Let me know if i can help any kind of way! more details, logs, whatever you need

Brand New to Ouya !

Hi, Just Inherited an Ouya from a friend who's having a "clearout" From what I can makeout its the 16GB grey version (Stock). I only want to use it as a Kodi client. Is there a step by step guide posted anywhere showing all the steps needed to Flash this rom from Stock? Did a quick search but couldnt find it so far

Thanks

Issues with Loading Kodi 15.1 on Ouya with CM 11

I recently did the Leap to CM 11-20150810. I have that all working very well... However when I download the Kodi 15.1 APK and attempt to install it I get an Error "Unfortunately, package loader has stopped" Right after I click "install" I haven't loaded anything else on this Ouya, since its dedicated to multimedia. Ive looked through several of the pages here and see that people have installed it, I also did a google search on the error and really didn't find anything useful.

Anyone seen this, and can offer some assistance in solving this... The Entire reason I put CM 11 on here was to run Kodi 15

Thanks

Unable to install software

I've downloaded ES Explorer and Kodi APK, but I cannot install either. It seems I cannot install any APK at all!

I've copied the APK to /sdcard/ and when I click them using the CM file explorer it asks if I want to install them, I click the install button but nothing happens :(

I've tried already cm-11-20150810-UNOFFICIAL-ouya.zip and cm-11-20150727-UNOFFICIAL-ouya.zip ZIP files...

Did anyone had this problem? Do anyone knows how to fix it?

Thanks in advance
