A T4 is unfortunately vastly different than the T3.

So, since audio has been repaired, do we know if that's basically it...or is there still problems with video?

Wanted to wait until the work had further matured before rooting and flashing my Ouya for the first time.

Why not trying to install CyanogenMod 11 on OUya and then install the Launcher TV. It's not Android TV ADT-1 for sure but better than nothing xD

android tv port

This may be a stupid question! With an android port for ouya, would that make it so we can use official apps made for Android Tv ?

UD? didn't the community send money for you to purchase an ouya?

If not then my mistake, but more frequent updates would be awesome. Do you have an estimated timeline, because most of your posts I see you have been working a lot.more on other projects or at least updating them.
Just curious.

You are the last developer who seems to care. I appreciate the work you are doing

Serial Output Pins

Apparently I can't post in the main dev threads, but I'm mostly trying to get my post count up here...

I have modded my Ouya with serial pins, and can share the kernel boot output with anyone looking to get 5.x running.

USB audio on ADT-1 port?

I'm still running the OUYA CM11 nightly and I actually wanted to stay on CM11 because it hasn't had any issues at all for the last 6 months. But my Nexus 7/2013 got CM12 and that allows USB audio DACs so I'm able to use my wireless logitech g930 head set (it is completely plug and play, so it works PERFECTLY). Has anyone tried any DACs with the Android TV port?

Really the only things missing on Ouya CM12 now is the ability to be used as a ChromeCast receiver and USB to audio support.

Hi all! Dead or not, my OUYA is too good a box to just let it sink into obscurity, and everything Ive researched so far has pretty much pointed to cyanogen mod as a way to bring it to life again... I do have xbmc on it right now, and while a few repos work great, as does the live TV (better thank the box I use now actually) but for the most part all i get are broken repos and dependencies not met notifications...(i want to be able to install Jarvis, and I KNOW it can be done) I read that refreshing the add-on would fix it but it doesn't. So I did some research and cyanogen was the only thing recommended.
I've downloaded the apk's from sconfig, and read through the wiki, plus YouTube and a few outdated sites, to find out how I do it, but so far all I've gotten was confused...I know I have to do a reset to factory, then I have install the adb (that changes the op system, correct?) before I do anything else, and this is where I'm clueless. How do I do it and before I do it, Does cyanogen even work on the OUYA, and if it does why can't I just use the native browser to download and install the apk files without having to go through side loading and what not. Is there a site (noob friendly) where I can learn more about adb and how to do it so I don't brick my OUYA or is there a thread here that can help me? Maybe a simple step by step tutorial or a video or the caped crusader lol??
Thanks
