Google apps doesn't exist!!

I have heard most of the custom roms dont come with google apps like this carbon rom. i have tried installing gapps right after installing this rom using philz touch, but no luck in getting them, even if i install them separately, they dont work without google account, which is not available even after installing all the google apps from apkmirror.com... HELP!!!!

Hi, always having problems with no call sound... when attempting to make a call, the dialer shows "dialing" but there is no sound and the person did not hear me... I have to reboot to solve...
I noticed that the problem appears more often with low battery (think under 40% battery or even less...)

someone has the same problem?! ... how to try to solve..?!

nop ... at least not me

And the f4ktion kernel is already included in the Rom, you don't need to flash it at all.

The latest version of F4K's CarbonRom is working so perfectly that I don't even need to reboot my phone, in weeks! That's the main reason why I don't "evolve" to lollipop

Try turning off all "okay google" detection, reboot and see if you get the same problem. This fixed it for me with carbon and now lollipop.

I have problem with message "Google play services has stopped", looks like it has something common with location services. If i turn loc off message disappears. Reinstalled ROM and gapps, nothing helped

Hello XDA

I have the same problem as EddieCz from the message above..

I was running CM11 and everything worked pretty fine, decided to try Carbon. I flashed the latest 2015 rom with Gapps and I kept getting this "Google Play Services has stopped" error. Like EddieCz it looks quite linked to location services and using the "high-accuracy" location rather than just simple GPS.

So far what I've tried to do to solve the problem:
- reinstall carbon
- delete cache and all data from Google Play Services
- disable/re-enable Google Play Services to let it update automatically
- completely wipe the phone, including all data, and re-install carbon again
- use the script here

And I just keep getting this error =(

I'm getting really confused as to whether this is a global CM11-based rom error as I have read in a few places, if this is just bad luck, etc.. I'm going away on holidays at the end of the week, intented to rely heavily on my offline maps app, and it's basically un-usable because of this error which pops up all the time..

Any advice/other solutions to try?

Problem device profiles

Hello all I have to say that this rom works perfectly and makes the device smoothly and fast, congratulations to the creators. The only problem so far is that the profiles of the phone do not change in value when you go to adjust the various volumes. As regards the enable or disable (for example) the bluetooth or the wifii etc etc work well but the volumes of the various alarm, ring tone etc. etc. not. Does anyone know has encountered the same problem and if in case there is a solution without having to use third-party app?
