Hi all,

I flashed the most up-to-date cm12.1 and it seems that it is not useful (reboots, overheats). Unfortuntately CM website has broken archive and i cannot access 20150705. Could any one of you share it with me?

thanks
- Marcin

cm 12.1-20150717 Reboots :(

Crashes and reboots. there is not different when clean cache and dalvik

I have the same problem, cm 12.1-20150717-nightly-jactivelte keeps on rebooting.

actually use cm 12.1-20150705

Still the same for 2407.... Although not getting as hot, the phone is unusable due to frequent reboots. Ensure you make a nandroid backup before upgrading to any of the current nightly builds.

Im currently on 0722:

Is this just me?
- Phone always wake up if the home button was pressed (option is disabled).
- Gyrosensor dosn't work.
- Auto Brightness sometimes doesn't work
- And usual battery drain, random reboots and unstable camera (yeah its kinda normal on CM :D ).

Phone power off

I was experiencing problems with gapps crashing, here is what solved it in my case:
1. "Wipe dalvik cache" (found under "Advanced")
2. "Wipe data/factory reset"
3. "Format /system" partition (found under "mounts and storage") - this was crucial!
4. Installed the gapps-lp-20150420-signed.zip from ItVends! (TK Gapps keep crashing - tried different packages, but ASOP Keyboard kept crashing over and over again).

No gapps crashing at boot time any more.

Lars.
Phone was working perfectly for about two weeks running 20150705, and the gapps package from my installation (quoted). Then, about a week ago, something happened, and the phone now powers off many times per day. I suspected an update to the "Google" app from Play, and uninstalled it, but this did not solve the problem.
Anyone else experiencing this, and/or found a solution?

Lars.

... And post # before that

If delete Services data not help, TK GApps is recently updated this week.
Avoid CWM based recovery 6.0.4.7, it will crash Gapps install. Switch to Multirom TWRP built by @spegelius.

ThumbsUp button under every post is free to use in case you're in the mood to show appreciation.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction O-T:
Wiped cache partition and dalvik cache, and phone is stable again.

Dear all
I'm using 0705 for a long time
The only issues I face:
1. Phone is quite hot
2. Battery drain
3. THE MOST IMPORTANT for me: during phone calls i her random scratches and crackling. I can hear the voice very bad. Actually I'm almost not able to use phone as phone :)

does anyone face same issue or have a solution for this?
thanks

Hello,

i am using your nightlys since a long time now and i never faced really big issues.
now i updated to one of the 12.1 builds and my devices goes overheat.
so decided to go back to the old CM 12 build i was using before to get rid of the overheat and wait for a fix from you. but sadly even on the old build my device is now overheating.

Whats going wrong there? :(
Do you have any idea how i can fix this?

Kind regards
Gardosen

Fix for Homebutton wake-up

Hi all

i figured out how to fix the problem with the home button ( Button press wakes up device, regardless of settings):

Open a root filemanager, navigate to /system/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl, scroll down, then you see a section with all buttons listed

Code:
key 115 VOLUME_UP WAKE
key 114 VOLUME_DOWN WAKE
key 172 HOME WAKE
(....)
Now remove the "WAKE" after HOME, save and reboot. Problem solved :)

Btw, the unofficial Build from @spegelius works great. Thank you for your work!

tested the 20150803-UNOFFICIAL from your gdrive, i made a factory reset and cleaned all caches and installed it as a fresh os.

+ battery drain gone
+ gps fix is amazing fast
+ overheat gone
+ camera works completely normal
+ battery life is pretty nice

- the sleepmode is a bit strange, sometimes the device makes this strange noise 5-10 times when going into sleep mode.

Amazing release, :)
